Chloe was happy to be back up and about the castle again. It had been nearly 3 weeks since the battle and though she had still not regained all of her strength she craved to go adventuring again. Eringuard stayed beside her at all times, ever vigilant in his care over her. She didn't feel sheltered though, she felt loved. As she walked through the castle maze, Eringuard and Joseph beside her talking about politics, and Joseph's new feat; building ships, and helping rebuild the destroyed parts of the castle. She listened half-heartedly. Since the battle with Crystal, she had watched color return to the world, enjoying the scents that the flowers brought back.
She was happy to be back at the castle, though she still had not seen many of her other friends, they were all busy.
She had seen some of them on random occassions throughout the castle, but all were too busy to do anything but nod a head in her direction.
"What do you think Chloe?" Joseph asked suddenly startling Chloe out of her reminsents.
"I'm sorry?" she asked apologetically.
"What do you think about the library being destroyed?" He repeated.
"Oh... I didn't know it had been," she replied.
"Yeah, they've been trying to have it rebuilt and the books that had been salvaged have been placed in the treasury for safe keeping," he explained.
"And the destroyed books? What of them?"
Joseph shrugged, "I've heard that Queen Lucy is going to have them remade."
"Sounds smart," Eringuard nodded.
"Indeed," Chloe said with a smile.
 
Out of nowhere Chloe heard a familiar voice, finding the face that matched coming around the corner. "JADIE!!" she cried bolting to her friend, nearly tackling her to the ground.

ic: "Ahh!" Jaide screamed. "Oh, hi Chloe!"

OOC: Hey Lady Teryna! (SP?) Okay, Crystal's dead... and the battle is over. It's been nearly 2 weeks. Uh... Jadie, Joseph, Eringuard, and I are all in the maze if you want to join us! :D

Chloe, Eringuard and Joseph were awestruck. "What?!"Chloe said with a laugh. "Wow! And I thought I slept hard!"
Eringuard just smiled.
"Oh! Eringuard meet Jadie, Jadie meet Eringuard. He traveled with me as I was searching for Queen Susan."
"It's nice to meet you, Jadie," Eringuard said bowing. "Chloe has spoken much of you."
 
"Hello," Jadie said yawning. "It's either that o I had to work on a science fair project." :eek:

"So..how long have you been gone for?" Jadie asked Chloe, still yawning. "It seemed like a long time" :( :3
 
"Too long," Chloe agreed with a sigh, "But I'm back now! So let's make the best of it! How is Ocean? Lucy? Johnny? Mr. Richards?" Chloe giggled as she listed the last name. "I ran into Peter, but only for a moment. Have you spoken with Queen Susan?"
 
"Nope! They are alright..but I haven't seen them in a while..I think. Ocean went off to the beach for a while!"
 
"I haven't seen him since the day he left to retrieve his sword," she replied. "Let's return to the castle! I think I smell dinner."

"Oh..well i did see him some time ago near the gate. He was with some lady," jadie said. "I didn't talk to him or anything," Jadie said following Chloe.
 
"Oh? A lady?" Chloe said with a laugh. "I hope he's found a suitable wife."

"Geez, girls," Joseph said to Eringuard rolling his eyes.
 
"What do you mean by that? I shall call you Josephine now," Jadie said randomly.

"Maybe!!" Jadie giggled. "I didn't get to talk to her or anything."

ooc: I remember you stopping by once :p but then I stopped paying attention to everyone
