I don't know why narnia.com hasn't put a character bio up on her. I would think she'd have some importance *cough*silverchair*cough*

I'll tell you what I know about Laura. She's got the right look to her. She fits the description of the character perfectly, and she's got a very ethereal presence to her.

Hasn't anyone noticed how Laura's Character in VODT hasn't had much promoting in movie news? Why is that you think? Maybe they made her a minor character that is of no consequence to the movie.
 
Or maybe it's just too early. To be perfectly honest, they've kept a tighter lid on this film than PC, and perhaps even LWW. Why is that? Out of fear, or do they want us to be surprised?

I'm hoping that they have a clip of Laura's scene (maybe what we glimpsed in the trailer) available on narnia.com closer to release. It seems every week they're adding more and more to the site, so maybe they're just letting things come out in drops and sprinkles instead of trickles and streams. ;)

From everything that I've read so far, it seems that they actually made her character MORE important in the movie.

I think it is too early to tell. Plus, I actually like it better that they're not releasing lots of promo vids with her in them. As a character, she's so mysterious already, and I think keeping her a surprise stays true to that and also keeps us unspoiled for when we see her in the actual movie. If that makes any sense.

Again, I'm pretty sure they made her character's presence more known in the film than in the book, at least from what I've heard. Also, in the new teaser trailer, there's a bit more new footage of her. :D
 
From the looks of the second trailer it appears that she will only be a blue glowing ghost and nothing else.
