Ross replied to Chilena, "Don't worry, I have plenty of time to tune it. Our scheduled performance isn't until evening, when hopefully everyone's had enough games that they'll be ready to settle down and hear some _good_ music just _before_ the main concert."

Mark asked Chilena, "How's your brother taking to full-time public school? Has he got a girlfriend yet?"

=========================

Meanwhile, at the soccer field, Gilberto Costamesa, the police chief's son, found a moment to remark to Suri, "In case you're wondering, no, I'm not planning to become a cop. My Dad's a great man, but there are other directions I want to try for myself."

" No, not yet he likes someone though," she told him, placing her head on Ross " Hm OK how's this for a song?," she asked them handing them a sheet of music.

Meanwhile, a student named Sarah [created and then forgotten] was leading a retarded 17-year-old girl by the hand to the racetrack to join the other special-needs kids in the first run-for-fun of the day. The oldest of the special-needs kids were having their event first, while the younger categories were enjoying the moonwalk chamber and the facepainting booth.

Elsewhere, as promised, the senior priest from St. Timothy's was doing his dunking-tank-victim duty.

Noticing what Chilena was looking at, Ross played on his violin the tune of Paul Simon's 1960's song "Cloudy." And Mark, doubting that Chilena would have heard the song, made Ross' joke clear by _singing_ with Ross' playing:

"Clou-deee, the sky is gray and white and clou-deee,
Sometimes I think it's hangin' down on me...."

" Haha every funny you two," she them, looking back at her friends " Ross what do you think about when you playing your violin?," she ask, hooking her with his.

"Recently, I think of this comedy team I saw on television," said Ross. "I wish I could remember their names--it's two men--but they do the craziest routines woven in with serious music. One man is white and plays violin, the other is Asian and plays piano. They're obviously accomplished classical musicians, but they're also a RIOT as comedians. Once they even did a sort of Riverdance routine, showing they can dance besides. I'd like to do something like that--make people laugh, AND get them to be more receptive to classical arts at the same time."

She rolled her eyes " You all ways like that," she told him, taking her drum sticks out of her pocket " Mark follow this," she told him, tapping on her knee.

But Mark only stared in amazement at Chilena, who was not much taller than five feet, being able to carry foot-long drumsticks in her jeans pocket.

Mark borrowed one of the drumsticks. "Look at this;" and he thrust the tip end into one of his front trouser pockets. It went in for less than half its length and then stopped, unable to go any farther. "I repeat, what kind of pockets do YOU have?"

" Like I said before same kind of pockets that you have yes, I'm small but still I can carry them even though they are to tall to fit into my pockets," she told him.

"It must have been just the way you were standing, then; I didn't see them sticking out at all."

Meanwhile, the whereabouts of Kim Tisdale remained uncertain.
