" All right oh, when is class post to start?," she asked, getting up from her spot.

OOC: What do you mean by "class"? This is still early in the day on Labor Day.

 

[Josh the Jester]

Grant was on the field stretching with his teammates, ready for the game to start.

 

[Nightcrawler_Fan]

Summer walked over to Grant. "Hey Grant. Need another player?"

 

[Josh the Jester]

"Hmm I'm not sure", he said looking around to see if he enough teammates or not.

 

[Copperfox]

Others with Grant included Brendan, Suri, Callie, and an Escrima student named Gilberto who was the police chief's son. There were at least three others besides these and Summer. The other team was slightly more numerous.

Summer looked at both teams. "Looks to me like you do." She smiled.

 

[Josh the Jester]

"Yea I guess so" he said shrugging with a smile. "Go ahead and get warmed up."

 

[Gentle Voice]

Chilena pulled out her phone to call Al.

Everything else has waited for one absent player long enough

"Hi, sweets!....No, I'm _not_ with Kim. She helped Mr. and Mrs. Imada with last night's preparations, but then they told her it was up to her if she worked the stand today. They haven't seen her yet today, nor have I. So, is there something I can do for you?"

 

[Gentle Voice]

" Yeah, kind of hm but I can't tell you on the phone I'll meet you back at the park OK?," she told him.

 

[Copperfox]

Soon Alipang was once again alone with Chilena. "I'm here, sweets. What's up?"

 

[Gentle Voice]

She put her head on his shoulder telling him what she told their mother.

 

[Copperfox]

Alipang kissed her--though he could not have said whether he was more cheering her up or cheering himself up. He would hold off telling his own disappointment for now.

"As a matter of fact, Mark saw me before you got back. Mark wants you to understand that it's what OTHER PEOPLE THINK that he was bothered about. But our best bet probably is to reach Dan BEFORE any rumors do. Got your cellphone with Dan's number in it?"

 

[Gentle Voice]

" I left a message on his phone all ready," she told him.

 

[Copperfox]

"Let me just text him from my own phone..."

"Yea I guess so" he said shrugging with a smile. "Go ahead and get warmed up."

Summer grinned and started to stretch. She sighed enjoying the opportunity to let her stiff muscles stretch.

Chilena looked up at her brother " Al?," she asked.

 

[Copperfox]

"Yes, honeygirl?"

 

[Gentle Voice]

" Thank," she told him, hugging him.
