Does Aravis have a last name? 'Tarkheena' is surely a title rather than a name. Helen presumably does have a last name, although we don't know what it is. So if that's your reasoning, the odd one out should be Aravis.

You are right of course. But assuming that Tarkheena (Tarkhaan as well) is used as a last name, then Helen's is the only unknown one. If it is about titles, then yes, your answer is the correct one.

Yes BK, Helen is the only one whose name we don't know. Since Aravis introduced herself by the name Aravis Tarkheena, so I say that is her last name.

Of course Helen had a last name while on Earth, but we aren't privy to it.

That leaves one left from my original onss:

4A
1. Lucy
2. Edmund
3. Eustace
4. Shasta

Note: The first three from VotDt only.

Hint Caspian could have been placed on thie list, but he was a special case.I also could have put on the list Reep, but I felt like confining it to humans.

Onto some new ones:

8A
1. Cor
2. Corin
3. Peter
4. Edmund

9A
1. Empress
2. Lady
3. Chatelaine
4. Queen

Maybe this is too obvious, but Lucy, Edmund, Eustace, Reepicheep, and Caspian go to Aslan's Country --although Caspian's visit is after his death (Silver Chair). So Shasta would be the odd one out.

This has to be (2). The other three are titles the White Witch gave herself and were used during her lifetime; the White Lady is the name given her by the hag in PC.

I have three more of my own - all quite easy, I think.

No Benisse. Caspian never goes to Aslan's Country until he dies. The link happens during their lives. They all have something in common, just in an interesting way.

(d) Edith Winterblott

This was easy. Anne Featherstone was Lucy's "adversary" at her school. The other three were "Them" at Eustace and Jill's Experiment House.

The character who heals Purddleglum's foot doesn't fight in a battle?

Actually, as far as we are told, only one of the characters fights in a battle, so no, that's not it. Can you identify who the characters are?

Is it (a) the only one who was married? didn't he had a family?or was this a movie thing. He's also the only one who would have fought in a battle.

or (c) the only one who allowed humans to ride on him?

Jeez! I can't believe I don't remember these things.

Well, I suppose those are true, but the clue to the answer is contained in the one that is the odd one out. It's in the same kind of vein as your 3A and 5A.

I GOT IT!!It's definitely (c), the character who knows the nine names of Aslan. It is the only one NOT named in the books!!! The other 3 were (a) Glenstorm, (b) Cloudbirth, and (d), Roonwit
