Peepiceek's Odd-One-Out Quiz

I think Susan did have a private conversation with Aslan in PC. I'm am not sure though, but I think she did after they followed Him through the cliffs and stuff. I know. I'm not offering any solutions, lol. It's just that I can't really think about this right now.

I don't think she did - I think the others were present at it.

Peep got them. Sorry Peep, I must have missed your response to 11A : "The first three are all appointed king/queen by Aslan in person. Rilian is not appointed by him in person, but he had told Caspian that whe he returned he would find Rilian waiting for him and that he was to be the next king."

That is right. Aslan named each of them kings and queens in person. I feel like having a bit more fun though. Why did I include Rillian, though? It wasn't for the reason you gave.

"I think they all have private (one-to-one) conversations with Aslan, except for Susan who never does."

That is correct. Susan was always around someone when talking with Aslan.

I'm still thinking of your new question, Peep and may have some more of my own coming.

1B
A. Jadis
B. Mr. Tumnus
C. Dr. Corneluis
D. Glenstorm

2B
A. Edmund
B. Reepicheep
C. Eustace
D. Lucy

Oh wow! These could be anything!!

Ok. 1B could be Dr. Cornelius. He was the only one who knew that humans (the kings and queens) would come (or return) to Narnia. The other 3 didn't really know or believed at first when and where (and if) humans came to Narnia. lol! I hope it makes sense.

No; good guess though.

In 1A, three of them have something the odd one out does not. In 1B, something happens to three of them by the odd one out.

I'm thinking for 1B, the odd one out is Jadis. All of them in 1B look human (at least halfway) but aren't, which Mr. Beaver said in LWW that creatures like that were usually bad. However, Jadis is the only one who is actually bad.

Correct. The other three are part human. Dr. Cornelius is half-dwarf, half-human. A faun is part-human, part-goat. And a centaur is part-human, part-horse.

2B
A. Edmund
B. Reepicheep
C. Eustace
D. Lucy

My guess is Reep. They all went to the end of Narnia, but only Reep stayed in Aslan's Country at the time.

My next one:

13A
1. Edmund and Peter
2. Mr. and Mrs. Pevensie (my names for then are William and Anna)
3. Digory, Polly, and Lucy
4. Eustace and Jill

Yes, the Pevensie parents haven't gone to Narnia, but that is not the answer. They are grouped for a specific reason.

Sorry, that is not what I'm looking for. One helped the other three in the same way each time.

I think the answer is Lucy, because she used her cordial on the other three.

Well, if that's the answer then it you should have posted their nature, not their names. for example. Hal-Dwarf for Cornelius, Faun instead of Mr. Tumus, and Centaur instead of Glenstorm. When you put the names, then you are referring to their Character and the actions of said character, not their nature.

Why can't their nature be what you have to look at to figure the odd one out, BK? There's nothing wrong with the way I listed them, it just requires a little thought.
Yes, but the way you listed them takes the solver in a totally different direction. I'm just saying it did not make sense to me. Maybe it did to others.

Everyone left the Shadowland England through the railway accident but only Eustace and Jill came to the Shadowland Narnia to help King Tirian; whereas the others went straight to the New-Narnia/New-England beyond the stable door. Edmund and Peter were coming from the Ketterley's old house with the rings at the time of the accident, Digory, Polly and Lucy were traveling with Eustace and Jill at the time, and Mr. and Mrs. Pevensie were somewhere on the same train in another coach.

You are right Benisse. Yeehaw!

BK, this is a riddle thread . Many other questions by both Peep and I also led people in the wrong direction.

This thread has been idle for a while. Here's a new one.

#30.
(a) LWW ch 17
(b) PC ch 11
(c) TLB ch 3
(d) TLB ch 8

My #29 still remains to be answered too:
Peepiceek said:
#29.
(a) “And from that second change there will be no return.”
(b) “If you’re thirsty, you may drink.”
(c) “It is others who must lead.”
(d) “They shall only see my back.”

I think all the others have been answered.
