Pirates? Anyone else a pirate? Come on, be a pirate.

Malaci dragged her up, once she reached the surface he told her.
"I thought that you were supposed to be rescuing me," he chuckled a little. Malaci looked up and called out to Jewel, "PULL US UP!"

"This isn't the best time to be crackin' any jokes matey!" She told Malaci. She tugged the rope a little harder so that cia and the rest of the crew would get a clue.

Olorin rushed up on deck. He took one look at the raging storm and a sudden anger appeared on his face. Raising his staff, he shouted a single word of power that pushed out from him like some great wave, pushing away the clouds, the waves, and the rain.

OOC: Who's Malaci?

IOWW was still very busy trying to sort things out below deck. Of the twenty or so captives, only 5 were on the ground unconscious ( or for one unlucky bloke, dead) and the rest were fighting back with whatever they could find to fight with: Nails, pieces of wood, oars, and even weapons they managed to take form some pirates.
"Alright, that's it!" She reached for her pistol and shot a sailor who was trying to run Dead Tom through with an oar, and, for a moment, everyone stopped.
"We didn't want to kill you all!" She shouted at the sailors, " but if you keep this up, you'll leave us no choice!" IOWW picked up an unconscious sailor," You think if we were gonna kill yeh we'd be knockin all yer men out?!" After throwing the man back down on the ground she pulled out her other pistol and held it at the ready," Now, calm down right now, or else I'll be givin' orders to kill rather than knock out!"
"You..." A sailor who looked rather skinny and ragged made his way through the frozen crowd," Are you Adellai Owen?"
IOWW was taken aback a bit at the question, but nodded, "Aye...that be me..."
The man looked around and dropped the piece of wood he held at her feet," Me brother served on the Navy ship ye caused a mutiny aboard...you let him and everyone else go in Africa once ye had reached land..."
"Aye."
The men now started talking amongst themselves as the pirates started spreading out around them.
"I trust ye'll let us go." The skinny sailor said. Many others nodded in agreement.
"Well I don't! One angry looking sailor, who had a gash across his face made his way towards IOWW," I think yer lying!"
"Do you now?" she questioned.
The man spat on her before replyin," Yes. I do."
IOWW rolled her eyes and shot the man square in the chest.
"...Now...does anybody agree with him?"
Everyone shook their heads.
"Good then...now...I s'pose we should get this cleaned up...we've still got to navigate through this storm..." The pirates picked up all the spare weapons and the sailors slowly took their places back at the rowing stations.
"If you all remain seated, perhaps I'll have some food n' water cooked up fer ye...granted the ktichen isn't burned down by now..." IOWW then turned and headed upstairs, leaving Dead Tom in charge.

Olorin rushed up on deck. He took one look at the raging storm and a sudden anger appeared on his face. Raising his staff, he shouted a single word of power that pushed out from him like some great wave, pushing away the clouds, the waves, and the rain.

OOC: Who's Malaci?

"It's very helpful to have a wizard on board." Cia said to Olorin. She tore a piece of her shirt sleeve off and tied it around her arm where the sailor had shot her. "Let's make sure these two get something hot to drink."

"I knew I should have tossed them all overboard after I put them to sleep," the wizard muttered when saw what was happening below decks. "They wouldn't be causing all this trouble if I had."

As the storm cleared and the twilight sky returned once more, two ships could be seen off the western horizon. One of the pirates got out his telescope, looked for a few moments, then cried out "I see two ships, non-pirate, Cap'n! One called the Dauntless gaining speed, right on our tail! Behind it, I could barely make out the name - the Endeavour it be called! Name o that ship sounds familiar...what say ye, cap'n?"

On the Endeavour, Beckett smiled. "Your plans have worked, Lord Saruman. Now when we overcome these filth, I have no doubt our business agreement will come to its close."

"We will both have what our hearts have desired most, Lord Beckett," Saruman replied. "The death of all pirates...the death of Captain Aravis!"

OOC: Who's Malaci?

Malaci is me, who's about to change his name, but Malaci is a wizard.

"Hmmm..." the wizard said thoughtfully. Drawing a strangely-crafted spyglass from beneath his robes, he focused it on the Endeavour. A moment later, he started and put the telescope away. Running to the bow, he raised his staff and began to muter strange words. Faster and faster he spoke, until suddenly he raised his staff and smote it down upon the bow of the ship. The ship seemed to suddenly leap forward, so swift did its progress become. A minute later, the Dauntless and Endeavour could barely be made out on the horizon.

EDIT: OOC:

The Wizard stood up from where he had been seated on the boat deck. "Lord Beckett, I believe the time has come to slow down Aravis' progress towards Spain."

Beckett smiled. "Then if it pleases you, do as you must, Lord Saruman."

Saruman raised his arms out towards the sky, his staff in his right hand, and a sudden wind rushed about him. He began to say something which carried over the horizon, chanting in an ancient Mannish tongue (which none on earth would have recognized, the language itself being native only to Arda) and clouds swiftly began to cover over the skies. While the waters remained calm towards the Endeavour, near Olórin's ship the seas began to toss and turn violently - so while it seemed Aravis' ship was progressing, at the same time they were being held back. The rain pelted the ship, thunder boomed and lightning streaked across the now dark and stormy sky.

"This should hold them at bay, even if for a short while," the Wizard said, smiling to himself. The Endeavour continued to advance, followed closely by the Dauntless, where Fish, Machia and Norrington were preparing for battle....

Machia stepped into his cabin aboard the Dauntless and looked around... The first thing he noticed was that the cabin was a lot bigger and more grand then his cabin aboard the Black Spot had been... "Gar, I suppose it's because I'm the Captian here..." He muttered to himself... He glanced nervously at the furnishings inside the cabin... He didn't felt very uncomfortable being in the Captain's cabin... He hadn't earned the right to have this sort of cabin... He had joined Saruman and was at this moment sailing to destroy Aravis and all the other pirates aboard Olorin's ship... "Arrr... What I deserve is to be walked off the plank..." Machia said miserably, as he sank down into a chair, running his hands over his face... This entire mess was his fault... Looking to his left he saw a pistol and a sword lying on a the table... The pistol looked brand new and the sword wasn't the normal pirate cutlass he was used to... Machia sighed and got to his feet... Grabbing the weapons he went back onto the deck to look for Fish....

The deck of the Dauntless was very different from the Pirates ship's deck... Every crew member was at a specific station and performed their jobs without fault... "Arrr.. Ye even take away the fun o' yellin' at a crew, Saruman..." Machia growled in the direction of the Endeavour... He climbed up the short flight of stairs leading to the helm and saw Fish standing by the railing... He walked over to her...

"Arrrr... This crew is way to organized fer me... Not to mention they're all workin' fer Saruman..." Machia said, glancing back at the crew... Then, glancing first at Fish, he stared over the railing into the water... "Gar, I know yer probably thinkin' the same thing but, even though I wasn't as happy with Aravis' Cap'n job as I could have been, I don't want her, IOWW or anyone else dead... I... I made a lot of mistakes back on the island an' Olorin's ship, and said some things I probably should have thought about more clearly before sayin'... Arr, I don't know..." He continued to stare at the ocean... "An' now I may have made the worst mistake, by joinin' with Saruman, but I was selfish, an' didn't want ter go back to bein' that Wizard's prisoner..." he looked at Fish again, "But I'm goin' to try to put things right again... I don't want any o' the other Pirates dyin'... We've got to warn Aravis, we've got to get out o' here and this fleet has ter be stopped... Even though I've made a lot of the mistakes that led us here, I hope yer still with me as my fellow officer... Arrr... Ye got any ideas?"

"What is it?" Cia asked the wizard. She couldn't see anything on the horizon. She felt a sharp pain in her arm, reminding her of her shot. She took a deep breath and walked back to Malaci. "Are you okay?"

"Saruman is on the Endeavour," the wizard told Cia. "But the Dauntless is faster than his ship, so hopefully we'll be able to do something about the Dauntless before we have to face him."

OOC: I have to go for awhile now, guys. I dunno if I'll be back tonight.

"I hope yer right."

ooc: Good night and God bless.

"We can do that later." Cia said, following the wizard below deck. "IOWW? What's goin' on?"

"Nothin, mate." IOWW told her," Just some problems neded straightenin out...we shouldn't have another sailor uprising anytime soon...s'long as we let them go at the nearest land, which should be Spain..." She turned back towards the doorway," Ye hear that boys? Spain!" Cheers came from below deck as the men continued rowing." Lets just say I have some conections...";)

IOWW walked over to Olorin and pulled out her own telescope," Navy Ships? Just our luck, eh? Cap'n! We've got some trouble on our hands, I reckon..."

ooc- Welcome back, Machia! :D

Aravis came out running, "What ye say?"

"we've got sum trouble brewing behind us," IOWW said as she gave a telescope to Aravis.

Unintentionally snapping the telescope away from IOWW, Aravis took a look. She could see the Dauntless getting nearer with every blink. "Aye, who was the last to take weapons inventory aboard this ship?" she asked as she leaned over the rail.

"Still with ye? Are ye kidding me? Machia, I've been regretting this whole 'mutiny' thing fer quite some time now... Only thing is...will Aravis-uh-the Cap'n- have us back? Will she even believe us? Arr...it doesn't matter. We have to warn her." Fish studied him for a moment. He seemed deep in thought. After a moment, when he didn't respond, Fish continued, "There's always DVs... But were we go Saruman goes. We'd be putting all o' them in danger by trying to git anywhere near them... So...what then? Should we shake Saruman first? Arr....if we can warn 'em that we're comin', we could try 'n hijack a lifeboat... Nay, that don't sound too safe, either... I don't know..." Fish turned and looked at him again. "Machia...if it comes to this, the rest o' the crew are more important. Aravis, and IOWW, and Twilight, and the rest... Arr...we can't let Saruman git to them..."

"Arr....weapons inventory? Cap'n...there not be many weapons to inventory.." IOWW said regrettably," This is a cruiser, not a battleship...it's got maybe ten cannons...then everyone aboard has their own personal supply of gun powder and whatever guns they have on them...with their cutlasses o'course..." IOWW rubbed her chin," If I remember, there's about 150 cannon balls...just enough for 15 shots from each...not much defense against one of them ships..."
