Toj looked at the ice queen

Toj: We do not know where this Emmett has gone, but we can defeat you yourselves or atleast make you weak, until Aslan finishes you off

SQ: You hardly know what to do with the shoes
let alone the box

Toj: The shoes give you luck
if you were them during battle you will be lucky. The flute has the power to control and tempt as well as melt the hearts of the evil
The box is to hold evil inside until the end of time.
and the sword also known as exclibur is to kill all evil and you say we do not know the power of such objects
If you're brave, you will fight us at the moment..us four against you.

Peter: Have you gone nuts toj?

Me: Either we fight now and get this over with and use our objects for a good use, instead of sitting on our butts waiting for Aslan.

Caspian: i have to agree with Toj, I'm ready to fight

Edmund: No Hannah i can't have you get hurt, let us handle it.

SQ: Oh stop it with all this chatter,
you want to fight let's fight

*smacks her strobe, stick into the ground *

While all the talk has been going on, the Lion of Wonderland, feeling sure that the Great Lion would not want him to be idle, has edged to the side. Now he leaps at the Snow Queen himself, aiming to knock her down without killing her.

The army the Snow Queen had brought was nowhere close to what she would have liked to bring....because so many of her snow beasts had perished at the hands (and bullets) of Emmett and Jake. They were mostly humans under her control. But that still made them at least an equal match for the average man in the card-kingdoms, where so many people were thin enough to suggest actual flat cards to a heavier person's eye.

Be that as it might, the sight of an external foe diverted the protestors from their anger at the King and Queen of Hearts. Bearing whatever weapons they had or could find, and led by Eragon and the sturdy Walrus, the already once-killed-and-resurrected soldiers poured out to fight the snow-country troops at the same time as the confrontation with the Snow Queen was occurring.

Since Vanessa is otherwise occupied, and since this won't contradict anything she has built into the character of the villainess....

A charge of magical energy that the Snow Queen had been intending for Alice and those beside her, now has to be expended protecting herself against the Lion's onslaught. Waves of coldness meet the daring beast, actually slowing his movement in the air like a movie going into slow motion. The Lion still knocks her off balance, but with so little impact that she is able to work free of him, and retreat a few paces to regain her focus on her challengers.

The Snow Queen pays no attention to the castle force opposing her troops, as long as they are not coming against her personally. She cares nothing for the lives of the soldiers she brought with her; but she is VERY interested in possessing those artifacts, in the hope that mastering them could compensate for the reduction of her power.

Alice again has an arrow in the string, but she is very reluctant to shoot at the Queen. She doesn't like killing, especially when she's had enough of it. But her Wonderland was at stake here. She loosed her first arrow as a warning, leaveing it quivering in ground at the Queen's feet.

Alice's reward for showing restraint is to feel her bow turning cold as ice in her hand. She is forced to let go of it to avoid her flesh freezing onto it...and it shatters like glass as it strikes the ground.

Caspian, getting the clue that the Snow Queen is not to be taken lightly, lunges at her with his sword. She parries with her spear, trading thrusts until she feels ready to release another wave of power. Caspian is momentarily slowed as the Lion has been; but Edmund rushes in to prevent him from being run through while he's at a disadvantage.

Have players decided yet how the shoes and the box WORK?

THE MONTY PYTHON ANNOUNCER'S VOICE IS NOW HEARD, REVIEWING "THE ROLEPLAY SO FAR."

The King and especially the Queen of Hearts wanted to conquer the other Card Kingdoms and then the Chess Kingdoms; they had this in mind even before the Snow Queen offered her support. Their army was on its way to attack its first card-suit targets when it was diverted slightly to try to capture Emmett and Jake. The gunslingers killed so many of the card-soldiers before being [temporarily] captured by the Snow Queen's magic, that the Hearts army was greatly demoralized. That army, however, did get back on task; but before the attack even was carried out, the moody and fickle Snow Queen had withdrawn her magical assistance from it. IT MUST BE REMEMBERED THAT, AT THIS POINT, WE DON'T KNOW THE EXACT SITUATION OF THE MAIN HEARTS-KINGDOM ARMY. The card soldiers who figure in recent posts are ONLY the ones killed by Emmett and Jake; Aslan brought these soldiers back to life.

Emmett and Jake achieved one piece of good up north, before falling victim to the VERY common roleplay scenario of males being powerless against women: they destroyed the Snow Queen's palantir-like snowglobe. After a woman servant saved the two brothers and let them flee while an enchantment of panic was rendering them useless, Emmett and Jake found the Fireman and reported to him all they knew about the Snow Queen. The Fireman then helped the scattered major characters, including Alice, Peter, TOJ, Hannah, Vanessa and Eric, to find each other again; and some of the ACTUAL Alice-in-Wonderland characters (notably the Unicorn) helped them to complete the finding of the magic items whose function the players still need to decide before the action can continue. ONE function is fairly clear: the flute carried by TOJ has power to influence people AWAY FROM violence and evil.

Previous to the arrival of the Snow Queen for the currently-paused confrontation, the Queen of Hearts tried to do a Tienanmen Square number on the revived soldiers who (with the Walrus of Wonderland) were protesting against the war of conquest. She turned loose a really big, mean, furry monster on them. Sapphira the dragon, and Eric with his hockeystick transformed into the long-sought magic sword, were prominent in slaying this menace; but Sapphira was grounded by injury to her wings.

Right now, the Snow Queen is already aware that Aslan could kill her anytime; but her centuries-old habit of stubbornness is preventing her so far from doing the sensible thing and throwing herself on His divine mercy. She wishes to recapture Emmett, though she herself may not be sure what she wants to do with him if she COULD get hold of him again.

And all of us are waiting for a consensus on what the magic items do.

There is only one of the magical objects which doesn't seem to be affected by the spell of the Snow Queen. This is the magical flute. ToJ who holds the flute suddenly plays on it. The Snow Queen does send some icy cold wind at her but before it reaches ToJ the Snow Queen lloks like she is somewhere else with her mind.

SQ: Emmett? Where are you now?

She tries to get Emmett out of her head desperately but the gunslinger keeps on returning into her head. She even falls down on her knees and screams.

SQ: Emmett!

Edmund: Quick! Hurry up! Now we can do something at her!

But the Snow Queen realizes what is going on and gets back on her feet again. Strangely enough she doesn't hit Edmund who stands the closest to her. She turns around and walks away. Leaving her army behind

Edmund: What is she going to do now?
Eragon: I think she realized something and is taking a break for a while but we are prepaired for battle!

Me: Eric, are you alright?
Eric: yes I'm fine love
Me: But what are you going to do now?
Eric: I'm going to join the others in this fight
Me: But your arm!
Eric: It's healed by an awesome doctor named Eragon
Me: We are all going to fight
Eric: You better don't
Me: Why not?
Eric: Because I don't want anything to happen to you
Pippin: But we have fought before
Meriadoc: Nessa......you never answered my question
Me: About what?
Merry: The Queen of Hearts
Me: They are trying to capture all kingdoms which includes the chess kingdoms as well
Merry: We must stop them!
Me: We must stop them AND the Snow Queen. I'm afraid she is going after Emmett again

Alice suddenly hears a voice, calling to her softly. She looks around.
"Alice! Come here!"
"Susan?"
"Yes! Over here!"
alice hurried over to where Susan was standing.
"What is it, Susan?" she asked.
"Lucy's got an idea about what the slippers are for."
Lucy said, "It's not an idea, Susan. I KNOW. Aslan told me."
Alice's eyes widened. "You've seen Aslan?"
"Yes," Lucy said. "But he's not here right now. He came and told me what the slippers are for."
"Wonderful! Now perhaps we can get this show on the road," Alice muttered. She was quite ready for this to be over.

The Snow Queen's army was routed. Eragon rejoined his friends, and soon pointed out something:

"The King and Queen of Hearts have no means left of opposing us by force anymore. They are at OUR mercy, and if they have ANY sense, they realize this by now. They should be grateful for us even to let them live at all; so as long as someone keeps them under control--and Sapphira and I, with the help of the Walrus, should suffice for that--all that remains is to recall the Hearts army. I think the Gryphon is recovered enough that he, unlike poor Sapphira, could fly with one passenger to find the army, and present it with a recall order which we will force the King to sign."

The Snow Queen, escaping without a thought for the captured or fleeing survivors of her defeated army, heard a voice that she feared; but He was not yet appearing physically, so He was not yet about to slay her.

"You called on the name of My servant Emmett," said the mighty voice, "because the last microscopic spark of something like humanity inside you has been preserved by My breath, and you desire something which you have no words to define. What you see and desire in Emmett is nothing so limited as the love of man and woman, though even that much would be a tremendous improvement over what your existence has been. You desire goodness itself, even though you have striven to extinguish goodness.

"You fight against goodness because it would challenge you to come out of your selfishness and risk the vulnerability of giving and caring; yet still you also desire somehow to HAVE goodness, for in it is life. You had the chance in your very hands to receive this life from Emmett, because he is My willing servant; but you forfeited this by your own fault, because you preferred to humiliate him and his brother for your own ego-gratification. Your opportunities for salvation are dwindling, but not yet entirely gone. I have already healed much of the harm you have done, and I could heal still more of the harm. Soon you will have to grasp your final chance, and choose between surrendering to My grace, or perishing beyond all remedy or hope."

When the Snow Queen did not reply to Aslan, He withdrew His voice.

Alice stepped forward out of the shadows where she had been talking to Susan and Lucy. "I'll go with the Gryfon," she said slowly.
Everyone turned and looked at her.
"I thought you were afraid of hieghts, Alice," ToJ said.
"I am," Alice replied. "But I'll go. I must."
