Playing in the Queen of Hearts' Castle

The Knave of Hearts, a fellow as crazy and impulsive as the newest version of the Joker in "The Dark Knight," suddenly rushes into view--to grab the flute away from TOJ and run off with it.

====================

That gives a new direction for action, while Eric is presumably going to save Peter, Eragon and Sapphira.

MY FLUTE ...
Toj ran after the joker, but he had disapeared from sight...

Caspian: don't cry, I'll get it back
He ran after the joker, and Toj could see him dueling the joker for the flute, it fell on the ground and Toj Jumped to reach the flute.....blacking out in the process..
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Seeing that Hannah was there for TOJ, Caspian disarmed the Knave and grabbed back the flute from him. He was turning to give it back to TOJ...when a secret door from a section of the castle opened behind him. Out stepped the King of Hearts, who clubbed Caspian's head from behind with his royal scepter. The King now took the flute, and he and the Knave escaped through the secret door--which, however, failed to latch securely behind them.

Edmund [this is on the assumption of ERIC meanwhile helping Peter] came up in time to see what became of the flute, so he darted through the doorway to chase the King of Hearts.

Eric, Nessa and Pippin followed the others into the Castle and watched the others when they were attacked. But now Eric sees Peter saved Sapphira and was about to be killed by this giant monster. The monster approaches Peter with his mouth wide open and was about to kill him.

Eric: Nessa! Go outside!
Me: But..b
Eric *screams* : NOW! And you too Pippin!
Me: But Eric
Eric: No questions please! Just go!

Nessa and Pippin run to the door where the Rabbit is waiting and see how Eric grabs his sword.

Eric *whispers*: I have never used a sword. I only used a hockeystick but this is something different. You must save them Eric! If you fail then we all are lost!

Eric approaches the beast who seems to be interested in killing Peter fast.
And just when the beast wants to put his enormous teeth in Peter's body Eric stabs him with his sword in his right foot. The beast screams and throws peter away and focuses on his new attacker. His giant claws are sharp as knives and he attacks Eric. Eric dives and rolls on his side escaping this giant foot to splatter him. He gets up and quickly runs to the back of the beast. Eric jumps and grabs it's back. He stabs the beast with his sword in his neck but it's not enough to kill the beast. It turns around and swings it's arms. Eric falls off again and the beast approaches him. He smashes Eric with his giant claws. One of his claws hits Eric's arm and leave behind a deep wound. Eric screams but knows he must not fail. Suddenly Eric grabs his sword and waits for the bear to attack him.
The giant walks up to him and Eric walks around him trying to give the others some time to escape whenever they can. Then Eric is determined to finish it. His sword is glowing magically and Eric is surprised for one moment but then he rushes up to the Beast while it rushes up to him as well and with all his strength left Eric stabs the sword deeply in the heart of the beast. It screams and in his anger it smashes everything in his sight and then he falls down and doesn't move anymore. Eric grabs his arm which is bleeding heavily.

Eric: Peter! Are you alright? And what about the others? Sapphira and Eragon?

Eric can hardly walk. he is bleeding and about to faint. Nessa and the others run to him.

Me: Eric! Eric! Are you alright?
Pippin: And what about them?

Pippin walks to Peter to see how he is doing

Alice had watched the whole thing happen and with an arrow still in the string she ran over to where Peter, Eric, Nessa, and Pippin were. She was nearly breathless and thought that she might collapse at any moment, but she was too worried about Peter and Eric to think about that much.

Me: Eric! OMG! You are bleeding! And what about Peter and Eragon?

Nessa sees Alice and helps her to stay on her feet

Me: You better go to Peter now Alice. Maybe you can help him. But how is Eragon doing and Sapphira?
Pippin: We need some help here
Eric *screams*: My arm!
Me: Love are you okay?
Rabbit: They are all wounded. We must help them

Alice kneels down at Peter's side to check on him and Nessa tries to help both Eric and Eragon

"You know you really should be more careful Peter!" Alice said reproachfully.
Peter grinned weakly. "You never know what could happen in a battle, Alice."
"All the same, you scared me a lot out there," she replied.
"If it makes you feel any better, I have just as a right to say the same thing to you; running out there like you did!"
"Yes, but I'm not the one who's hurt!"
Peter sighed. "You got me there," he said.
Alice bit her lip and said, "But I'm not mad."

* Hannah helps her sister to safety*

Me: Oh sis what are we gonna do now I miss Edmund I wish he was here right now he might know *sigh*

TOJ: I don't know either I wish I did sorry

* They sat down by a hole*

Me: Oh, Edmund were are you?!

Toj: My flute....where is my flute
and where did caspian go?

Hannah: I miss Edmund and him

Toj looks around for Alice, she seems to be talking to Peter.

* Hannah Pulls her knees up and place her chin between them*

ME: I don't know were your flut is but I don't think it's far.

TOJ: Yeah, I hope your right sis * sigh* It took me forever to get it

toj: I'm going to go find the other's alright?

hannah: alright

Toj went on in search for others when she bumped into Caspian bleeding.

Me: CASPIAN...you're you're bleeding...
Caspian: I know - don't touch me, where are Peter and Edmund.
Me: I don't know where Edmund is, but Peter's over there, I think somoene got hurt badly.
Caspian: Right...*speeds off*

Eragon, less hurt than others, recovers...takes in the fact that Sapphira's injuries are not immediately life-threatening...and proceeds to apply direct pressure on Eric's arm to stop the bleeding, trying to keep the arm higher than Eric's head so gravity helps the process.

Edmund, meanwhile, corners the King of Hearts.

"What do you think you're going to do with that flute?" he demands.

"Bargaining chip," the unathletic monarch pants in reply. "Try to get...HER on...our side again."

Edmund, far stronger than the lazy card-king, swats aside a desperate scepter-blow and wrests the flute out of the older man's grasp. "If you mean who I think you mean, fool; and if she's as much like Jadis as I think she is; she'll never be on ANYONE'S side but her own!" Contemptuously shoving the King of Hearts into a chair, Edmund hurries to bring the flute back to TOJ.

Back in the courtyard, some of the protestors, who found courage to return, are giving first aid to the Lion, the Unicorn and the Gryphon. At the same time, the Walrus is helping Sapphira lurch up off of her back. The dragon is in no danger of dying, but she will not soon fly again.

Meriadoc now says to Nessa, "Where did that Queen of Hearts get to?"

Edmund bumps into Toj who takes the flute eagerly

Me: Well, well, my flute is back and the next person who tries to get it, is so feeling the pain.

*starts to play once again* * not sure what will happen this time*
Edmund: You need to take care of the snow queen now

The Snow Queen's pet skua was feeling puffed up with importance, now that his mistress no longer had her snowglobe through which to find out things. He had not waited to be ordered, but had volunteered to scout the goings-on in the Hearts Kingdom. Thus he saw and heard much of interest--including evidence that the young friends of Aslan had found some powerful magic artifacts--AND the fact that the dragon Sapphira, about whom the fire-hating Snow Queen had been somewhat worried, was now unable to fly.

The skua gloated as he soared homeward with his information.

Peter laughed. "Of course you're not mad."
Alice sigh. "If you say things like that, I will be. Do you think you can get up?"
"I believe so." So, with some assitance, Peter was able to stand up.
Alice stood back and looked him over. Suddenly, she was overcome with everything that happened. It had all happened so quickly. What would happen to them next? A single tear rolled down her face.

The rest of the protesters came swarming back to the castle. Some shouted, "Off with THE QUEEN'S head--see how SHE likes it!" Others added the King to the wish list.
