Prince Caspian: Ben Barnes & why is he so old?

Even some men who have had the privilege of portraying the Lord Jesus Himself seem not to have carried away any lasting heart-benefit from this.

Not Jim Caveizel *sp?* who played Jesus in The Passion of the Christ. He's a devout Catholic and refuses to be in any role that would be objectionable to his faith. Before he even played Jesus, he turned down a role in a movie in which he would've had to do a "questionable scene".

But I understand what you're saying, though. Some people do take terrible roles after playing such good ones. I hope none of the Narnia kids end up like that, and I hope Ed Speleers doesn't either, b/c although the Eragonmovie was messed up, the character of Eragon is still a good-quality, heroic role. And Ed shouldn't spend the rest of his new career doing stupid no-good movies. And neither should Will, Anna, Skandar, or Georgie! Especially Georgie. B/c she's so sweet :)

Yeah I've been thinking about that for awhile now. I really hope the Pevensie's don't start playing roles that are...questionable in the future. And what I read was an unconfirmed report so maybe that's why they don't have him down as cast yet. Answering Peter Pevensie's question.

chao!

Personally in the book he's no older than edmund!this guy would be better for the caspian role in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and a smaller role later in The silver chair.I mean come on!That dude's WAY older than will mosley!

At last we have our Caspian, no disrespect to Skander, Georgie, William and Anna (which I believe did fantastic in thier debut performance in a feature film), this guy Ben seems to have credentials 'on stage' although film is a different form of entertainment he seems suitable for the part. Lookswise he seems perfect with the long hair (better than William - who needs a haircut) but Ive seen his pictures on imdb with his short hair and he looks like a 'chav' :D (a British derogatory term, I will not utter here).

I wish him all the sucess!!

Oh yeah, Specter, you are so old!!! A whopping 26!!! If that's old, then I hate to think what I am!!! ROFLOL
:) You're only as old as you feel! Love the sense of humor!

Wow if he's doing all three movies, hopefully they will come along quickly! He's 25 years old! He might be 30 by the end! And if theres a romance between Caspian and Susan - it might be a bit weird!
They're planning on shooting Dawn Treader within months of finishing photography on Prince Caspian, and then shooting soon The Silver Chair after that, so it shouldn't be much of a problem at all.

When you get to be my age the hearing goes, the hair falls out, other hair grows where it isn't supposed to (ears, eyebrows, nose, etc.), your six pack abs become a keg instead. So the only thing left is the sense of humor. :D :p

Well, he looks really cute, so i hope he will be a good Caspian :D

But it doesn´t count how old he is. I mean, i´m 21 and can look like a 13 year old girl, so what.... And William will be 20 in April, so....

21 to 13, whoaaaa....

Well, um, i dont imagine him as Caspian, dunno why, he looks too old, like yeah 25, like a grown up man, and Caspian isnt really that old for the fourth book...

I guess I could live with him for now... although, NOTHING has been confirmed yet, right?

I still don't understand why they want someone so much older than the character really is. The Pevensie actors aren't that much older than they're supposed to be.
