Prince Caspian Movie 2008

i sort of think this thread is getting off subject with the who should play who, but i agree with everyone else (mostly), o. bloom is just way to old to play caspian (don't froget that caspian is somewhere around susans age), and i really doubt that anyone from t.L.o.t.R. or for instance Harry Potter would be in the narnia films. they're already in huge series.

but you know who i think would be perfect to play caspian (and this has been said on other threads) Jermey Sumpter (from peter pan, 2003)!

Hi....................................... Is this your new hiding place?

Wow

The first time I read this book it was sooooo boring, but as I got older I really loved it. I am so excited to see how they bring it to life. ALthough, I hope Andrew Adamson improves some of the weaknesses of LWW

Andrew did a great job with LWW, it was incrediable!
I hope he directs again, I don't think there was any faults!

I didn't mean to infer that he did a bad job, my apologies. But there were weaknesses, and there is always room for improvement. His strengths are his passion for Narnia and his faithfulness to the integrity of the character, but as a director he tends to move from point to point to point without letting real depth or character develop. I found the same instances in Shrek.

Again, I am not bashing him or the movie. I am learning from what I watched and listening to the critics of others who know the business. I thought the film was tremendous and I think he deserves accolades, but I you can't fault me for wanting each to be an improvement over the last.

Now that I think about it.... what if he improved more then LWW?
Prince Caspian would be AMAZING!!!!!
I didn't know who he was in Shreak, until Narnia and now he is my fave director!

It better not be ORlando Bloom, he is sooooo ugly. I hate him, i don't know why other girls fancy him so much.
I think Steven Seagal should play as Caspian. :D OR maybe Eddie Murphy. :D

Miraz

Hey, guys. I think this guy should play Miraz:

....it's 4 am and I'm bored. :( So I drew a picture. I think he would be perfect for the role. ;) Oh man someone please give me something to do lol

I'm sorry but I can't see the picture!

I think Eddie Murphy would be a little too old, and I think he has that smile that makes everyone laugh, that wouldn't suit Caspian!
Eddie Murphy is too funny!

Does it have to be 2007?

OMG!
Does it have to be shown on 2007
I mean, why this December 2006?
But i thinks thats a lot of pressure for the crew and cast.

I just cant(90x) wait to see the Pevensie's in action again
and aslan too!
Is there any Character in the Narnia books that is similar to Jadis?

According to this site, the filming for this movie isn't starting 'til the fourth quarter of the year, which means it probably won't be released 'til late 2007.

The Green White in the Silver Chair is so simular to Jadis that many believe they are the same person, but you can debate that in the book forum :)

Principle photography should take three or four months, but what most people aren't considering, the rest of The Chronicles of Narnia films are going to be huge special effects and CGI movies as well.

On LWW, three of the largest CGI companies in the world were working on the same movie. (All at the same time.)

Projects this huge just take a long time. Even if they started filming right away, you still wouldn’t see the movie until 2007.

As Austin said, all the CGI stuff takes quite a while. Principal photography may only take 4-6 months but the rest takes longer. And there are more characters to deal with this time around. Also, you have to realize that pre-production is going on right now. Filming will start the last quarter of this year. Harry Potter started filming today and it won't be released until at the absolute earliest June 2007 but probably November 2007. There's just no way for movies like that to be released any sooner.
