Rangers of the Dancing Lawn!

IOWW, Twilight andd the Dwarves had only been walking an hour or so when they started hearing orcs.
"Quietly, now! We'll sneak up on 'em from behind!" Twilight ordered," IOWW. I hate to say it, but we'd better limit our powder use. We don't know how many orcs stand between us and the camp." IOWW nodded and pulled out her cutlass. Soon after getting ready to fight, the troupe came across the very end of the orc battle line. Ever so silently, they spread out behind the orcs. IOWW came up behind the nearest one and swiftly brought her cutlass across it's neck. She then moved on to the next one; Exterminating him in a similar fashion as the previous. The Dwarves, Twilight, and Eladin started killing orcs in a similar fashion. (Silent but deadly. :D ) It wasn't until after they had killed a good fifty or sixty orcs that they were finally noticed. The orc archers knocked their bows, but weren't quite quick enough. The Dwarves had arrows through them before they could even raise the bow. And so, they started to slowly make their way towards the currently under seige Rangers camp.

Caim stuck his sword though another orc, as his dragon set trees ablaze. Archers turned their arrows the other way though. The dragon flew up, to see why. It saw orcs falling, and small figures behind them. "Caim, there are other humans here..." It said. It hovered, just over the reach of the cave trolls, across the field. Caim nodded, and stood his ground, not letting any orcs through.

ooc- Perhaps. Just don't set us on fire or anything... :D

ic- IOWW ducked below the sword of an orc and sent her cutlass through his armor and his stomach. She saw in the distance what appeared to be a mass of fire appearing and then quickly disappearing.
"What in the name of Aslan is that?" She said alloud. Although, she didn't have time to think about it anymore, as another orc swung it's club at IOWW's head.
 
Caim saw the trees around the camp begin to move. He saw them stand. His dragon saw them, and blew fire at them, roasting them. Caim ran forwards, and sliced into another orc. The army had dwindled down to a few platoons now, and only on ebuilding had been damaged.

ooc- Don't kill all the trees...they aren't evil...some people just said hat a few were. :rolleyes: Twilight is gonna kill you when she finds out you're killing dryads...

ic- IOWW narrowly missed being practically decapitated. She brought her cutlass into the orcs stomach and kicked him to the ground. She sood for a moment to catch her breth, and saw Twilight staring angrily at a bunch of trees that were on fire before returning back to the fight.
IOWW also went back to fighting. But they were almost through to the Rangers camp.
 
Machia meanwhile was in the middle of fighting a group of particularly ugly orcs... He had already used both of his pistols and was now taking them out one by one with his cutlass, while avoiding being hit with their swords... "Arrrr... If their weapons don't kill me, then the smell definitely will..." Machia muttered to himself, as he took the legs out from under one orc, while stabbing another with his knife.... For although the orcs were pretty good when it came to fighting, they lacked a lot as far as personal higiene was concerned.... Another orc jumped at him and Machia teleported out of the way... "Arrrr.... an' I thought that the Black Spot smelled bad after no one in the crew bathed fer a month..." He said as he slit the orc's throat.... Another came up behind him and grabbed his hair, jerking his head backwards, while at the same time an orc came at him from the front....

Machia stabbed the orc in front but had to drop his cutlass, because the orc behind him had pulled his head back even more and put a knife to his throat... The First Mate reached into his pockets and hit the orc in the head with the first thing he could find.... which happened to be an apple.... The apple burst, pieces of apple and apple juice flying everywhere... It was enough to distract the orc momentarily and Machia took that opportunity to retrieve his cutlass and stab the orc... It fell to the ground, quite dead.... Machia shook the apple juice out of his eyes and used his coat sleeve to wipe apple fragments off of his face... "Arrr.. Waste o' a good apple..." he said sadly as he turned back to fight another orc...

Caim stuck his sword into yet another orc. His dragon had been busy takin out the last of the trolls. Caim turned, and saw the pirates on the other side of the small army. He swung his sword in a arc, cutting into the armor of an orc. He spun around, and sliced again at a joint, taking off an arm. He let it drop to the ground. And attacked another, in the same fashion.

ooc- Yeah, I think we are...lol

ic- IOWW had just put her cutlass through another orc when a horn was blown. The various orcs started to retreat back to Cair Paravel. Twilight, IOWW and the Dwarves rasied their weapons and shouted in victory.
"Come on. We've got to get back to the Rangers camp. Whose to say there aren't still orcs there?"

Back at the Rangers camp:

"C'mon matey! ye got the last shot! Shoot!" the Captain told the First Mate who was on top of the cave. "Machia! Tell your men to fire!" she yelled for the last time.

Machia and his men stood still as the waited for the last groups of orcs to get closer. "I'm jest waiting fer the right time....and that be...FIRE NOW!" he said as all his men obeyed his order. And as soon as they all released, the orcs fell down and drew their last breath.

"Go and decapitate their heads. I want them as trophies! In fact, I want ye to bring me all the bodies, decapitate all of them. I'll be sending the wizard a gift," the captain said as she smiled.

Twilight adn IOWW both heard the familiar sound of gun fire and smiled. They quickly made their way over to the cave where they saw pirate family.
"Machia! Cap'n! Fish! You all alright?" IOWW shouted, a euphoric asmile cemented on her face.
 
Welcome back matey! I didn't ye were alive! I mean, its been days! *hugs* So...How did it go with th-*turns to a pirate* HEY YOU! DO NOT USE THE ORC's HEAD AS A KICKING BALL! GET BACK TO WORK AND DECAPITATE THOSE HEADS! *turns back to IOWW and Twilgiht* So how did it go with the animals and dwarves? Are they on our side?

"Well, what do you think?" IOWW motioned to the 200 or so dwarves behind them. :D
