Welcome, Lionsmane!

I like ToS best, but then it's a toss-up for me about TNG or DS9 in second place, and those are your least favorites. I want to see all the Voyager episodes though; maybe it would change my mind.

The Doomsday Machine episode is a riot. My brothers will take every chance they get to shout, "Don't you think I know that?" ala Decker when told that whatever planet he's spouting off about is no longer there ... Hoo-ha.

Hi! well its not that I dont like TNG or DS9 just not as much as the others. I still have a soft spot for a certain half betazoid counselor...

Yesterday I found out that Netflix will have all of the STar Trek series streaming on instant play by this July!!! TOS, TNG, Voyager, and Enterprise will all begin streaming by July 1st, while DS9 won't stream until October 1st.

Yay! :D

I wonder why DS9 is delayed? That is my favorite series. Despite my love of TOS and TNG it's DS9 that really had the stories and connected supporting cast that made the characters so much more interesting week in and week out.

My ex-girlfriend who grew up on TNG and just watched nuBattlestar Galactica has asked to borrow my DS9. She looked Ron Moore from BSG up and saw DS9in his credits and knew I loved the show. I'm going to let her borrow them I suppose. Not make her wait till October on Netflix.

Because I don't think DS9 is one of the fan favorite series. I really have never heard fantastic things about it, and I think even Enterprise ranks higher for fans than does DS9. Or it could be because of legal issues.

Oh, cool. I wanted to do the same thing with Voyager -- but I have not had time to watch many DVD's lately. I managed to watch DS9 start to finish when Spike TV was running the episodes daily, and I enjoyed that; I think I will enjoy Voyager, once I see it all together.

If you have Netflix, Voyager is streaming instantly. It's really convenient because you don't have to worry about discs, but then, if you want special/bonus features, you have to get the series on disc. Bother.

Oh, thank you for the tip! :)

I do have the instant streaming NetFlix. Once I finish this Jane Eyre movie I am watching, I will put Voyager in the queue.

that is such a good report -- i trust you when it comes to ST -- maybe i will watch that one too. i tried before, but the first two episodes left me cold ...

I've been watching Enterprise on Netflix, and I have to say...it's kinda growing on me.

Now you're talking! Now you'll see why I love this series... with one possible exception but I'll tell you about it later cause it's towards the end. Where are you now? what episode?

Today I watched season 3, episode 4: Rajiin. Not a fan of it...had some same-sex overtones that I didn't care for. But at least season 3 has made T'Pol less annoying than she was in the first 2 seasons; however, I really hate the opening credits to season 3. I prefer the original!

Oh, yeah, they changed it there didn't they. I liked the original too, they kinda modernized it for seasons 3 and 4. And I like all the episodes about the Xindi. And sorry to tell you but those overtones will continue but nothing much to worry about...I hope. ;)

Oh...figures. *sigh* That was one reason I have never been interested in watching DS9...too much "tolerance". I haven't cared for any of the Xindi episodes; I really think I will start to dislike season 3 the further I get into it. But I want to know how it all turns out, so I'll keep watching.

Ok. It's only four seasons so if it's torturing you, it won't last long! :D I know how you feel about that issue so I hope it's not so bad... Let me know how it turns out and if you get disappointed or not.

Very true, unlike Next Generation, which had what, 7 seasons? Next Gen irks me to no end. And as soon as I finish Enterprise, I plan on starting to watch the Mission: Impossible tv series with Peter Graves. :D I haven't seen that show in forever!

I like some episodes of TNG but I wouldn't watch the entire series just to find the episodes I like.
