Doctor: about time you got here. Where were you?

Petra: I was helping Kara get out of trouble. What should I do?

Doctor: set up the transporter; just in case. Push admiral.

Kara damage report chakotay

Chakotay : the ship is destroyed no survivors but a few people were in some escape pods and are down on Courceant somewhere. We are tryomg sesmpr sweeps.

Kara : We will check it out in the morning Captain
 
Doctor: wait. There's a problem.

Petra: What?

Doctor: prepare for emergency beamout.

Petra activated the transporter ready

Doctor: now.

Petra beamed the baby out into an oxygen bed.

OOC: sorry, I can't think of the name of that thing that the Doctor beamed Sam Wildeman's baby into.lol
 
Kathryn Passed out on the bed she stopped breathing a image of Cadues had Kathryn strangled. Kathryn's Vitals dropped and eventually went to nothing.

Chakotay Kara take the bridge i don't know where Paris is i need to check on Kathryn.

Chakotay ran off the bridge Deck 5 sickbay he pushed the door shut

Kara stood on the bridge of Voyager Ensign standered orbit around courceant

Harry: Ensign mimic Voyager's Course but go into a lower orbit so we don't cross paths.

Ensign o connell Yes Sir.

Chakotay ran into sickbay "Doc, Petra will kath make it."

Chakotay held Kathryn's hand and wiped her forehead off with a wash rag she is in cold sweat Doc is the Baby out.
 
Petra; your daughter is over here; chakotay let me try healing her

doc: it's no use, she's

Petra; doc I can try. She laid her hands on janeway's arm. She let the Force fill her and transfer to janeway. chakotay i....i don't think i can heal her
 
Kathryn stirried slightly but didn't respond

Chakotay Kathryn don't chakotoay leaned over kathryn trying not to cry Can't you try again doc please.

Petra don't let her die

Kara sensed comottion down in sickbay

She tapped her commbadge Bridge to Sickbay Petra is everyhing okay
How is Kathryn ?
 
The doctor pushed some buttons; his face fell. Doc: I'm sorry, Captain. She's gone.

Petra hung her head. She felt like it was her fault but she couldn't heal the Admiral. It felt like there was a wall there that prevented her from doing it. Chakotay I'm so sorry. She went over to him and touched his shoulder. Petra tapped her commbadge, her voice choked with emotion. Kara, she's...she's gone. And it's my fault.

Kara : I don't like the sound of that. It isn't your fault Petra it must have been ( Kara choked up) to her her time she she was like a mom to me she mentored me when i i first came on her seven years ago. She set down on the first officers Chair her head in her hands.

chakotay turned away hugging himself his arms crossed why couldn't his new found jedi powers help her it that was even what it was.

he walked into the doctors office fighting back tears why couldn't you help her Petra .

i should have never let her come along then she could have had our daughter on Earth. I should have known when she said she was 8 months something was wrong.

I shouldn't have even came on this mission.

Petra; chaktoay I couldn't. I tried but I felt blocked. I'm sorry. I request to be relieved of my commission if you believe it'd be better.
 
chakotay wiped his eyes and blew his nose. "No Petra your good at this I don't want to releive you of your comimison. If it was Kathryn's time then it was her time. You couldn't have changed that.

Even if Jacen was blocking you it isn't your fault tell kara to take command of this mission fully i will be in my quaters.

he walked over and looked into his duaghtes eyes she had eyes and red hair just like Kathryn

She is her mom made over " Her name is Zaira Kathryn he took off his wedding ring and laid it by the incuabater and then put it back on.

He walked to his quaters crying he laid down on the bed.
 
Petra felt torn. She wanted to go to Chakotay to comfort him but she knew she should let him grieve. She went over and picked up Zaira.
 
Chaktoay's musings and greiving

Zaira looked around her blue eyes curious taking everything in she looked up at Petra then looked over at Kathryn's form

Chakotay : rolled over on his stomach he held the picture of him and Kathryn on there marriage day he laid the ring on the nighstand debating on if he should just go on with his life and continue commanding his ship.

He stood up and went over to his desk. He turned on his computer and started typing a Personal Log Entry maybe if he got his thoughts out it might help.

personal log 120109.1 Today was the best and worse Day of my life i became a father and I lost my wife a friend of mine thought it was her fault. But it wasn't i know it was that enemy that attacked Captain Kim on Naboo Sun and tried to kill her. I wonder if that was Cadues plan all along to drive a rift between our ships and freinds.

I love Petra but I don't want to jump into a relationship with her to Quick. i have no doubt that everyhing happens for a reason.

I met Petra on Voyager and she became a Cmo on a ship i was commanding. Then i senselssy and shamlessly flirted with her When my wife walked into the room. She told me she was 8 months along and Kathryn didn't look well and she was paler then usual i just thought she was tired or didn't have her morning coffee yet.

Then i discovered this new found "Force sensitivity" as Petra called it Why couldn't it have helped Kathryn Petra said she felt blocked Maybe thesse powers can't interfere with the Grand Design.

I turned command of this mission over to Kara Jade Kim Kathryn's protage and mentee I am not so sure of that either.

Kathryn was like a mom to her it might not help her any to take this command of this mission. but if she is hard nosed as Kathryn was it might be better for her To spread her wings so to speak. It might help her cope rather then her grieving like i am in my quarters.

Game closed feel free to post dh but don't move much further until Aravis or I get on

The Doctor solemnly pulled a blanket over her form. As a hologram, it wasn't in his program to cry but he did feel a sense of loss. He looked at Petra. "Somebody should inform the crew."

Petra: I'll go to the bridge. She handed Zaira to the Doctor and walked out, wiping away her own tears. Bridge. she said to the turbolift.
 
Kara's Emotions

Kara Sighed she needed to remain Professional but she couldn't keep the Sadness out of her Voice no matter how strong She appeared to be. She Tapped her comm Badge

"Kim To Paris report to the bridge and take over command I need to get back to my own ship I will run the mission from there. Chakotay turned command of the mission over to me. I will explain Later Tom. "

She nodded to ops "Beam me over to the bridge of my ship Ensign."

Harry sighed he sensed Kara's Sadness but he didn't know why something must have happened to get Kara so emotional.

Kara sighed and crossed her arms she didn't know rather to be angry or Cry.

Chakotay set in his quarters Feeling the same way he wished he could just talk to somebody writing his emotions down in his log didn't help as much as he thought it would.


Kara Shut her eyes and set down in Paris's chair. She didn't feel right setting in Chakotay's Chair.
 
Kara Lets go to Chaktoay's ready room tom Kara stood up and motioned for Tom to Follow her.

Kara looked at Petra.

"After you say what you need to on here. you might want to go talk to chakotay he is taking it really hard. Don't ask me how i know i just do he is in his quarters." Kara said her voice shaking.

Kara squared her hips and shoulders trying to look more confident and stronger then she felt.
 
Petra: you mean you're wanting me to announce to the crew that the person who commanded this ship for seven years is dead? How am I supposed to do that?!

Tom: Wait...ADmiral Janeway is gone? How?
 
Kara : Petra you will figure it out Tom Admiral Janeway died last night giving birth to Zaira her daughter. I think Cadeus is behind it somhow.
Sorry my jedi calm is failing me Petra and Tom its just my emotions are taking over my normal Jedi strenth and Calmness and Chakotay turned this mission over to me.I don't know if i can handle it.

Harry : sent to Kara thru there bond i think you can Kara you just have to be strong for Chakotay and the others and your people on Voyager that knwe Her" Harry's Voice broke.
 
Tom But janeway put me on this mission cause of my jedi expertise Tom still I think I should still be involved. i will just go back to my ship tom my emotions aren't the best right now. Kara leaned on chakotay's desk.
