The Last Stand:
Holding formation, Kato, Kara, and Kirna waited for the Sith to make the first move. After brief pause, the first hooded Sith leapt foward. Kato blocked his attack and qucikly slayed him with powerful stroke. After dead silence, the Sith horde flooded towards the three standing Jedi. It looked like a massive wave of darkness surrounding three beacons. Kato held his flank strong, slicing through any Sith that came in his path. Kara and Kirna kept close together using team tactics to hold there flanks. The Sith barage seemed endless, there numbers only seemed to grow. But dispite there efforts, the linked triangle of Jedi did not faulter. Piled around them, corspes made a circular wall. The Sith hissing circled, preparing for there next strike. Sweat dripped down Kato's borw, as he gripped his lightsaber handle tightly above his head. After brief pause, the Sith horde engaged. Swinging there bloodred sabers, the focused on Kara and Kirna. Parrying there attacks, Kara thrusted foward striking a Sith in the chest. Behiend her, her sister slashed a Sith across the back.
At the front, Kato wielding Sith saber with his own sliced through the front horde. Spinning them in spectacular display, he stabbed a Sith in the side. Adn with quick motion of his hands, he crossed the blades and beheaded the fallen Sith. The Cavern echoed with crackling lightsabers. Sparks flew all over, covering the piles of bodies. At last, the Sith horde backed off. Stepping foward Darth Arion spoke "You have foughten galiently". "Worthy of recognition in the Jedi Achieves". "But now I give you one final chance". "Surrender and you will have quick death" said Darth Arion. Standing stern Kato said "We will not surrender". "We are Jedi and we will fight to the death". Arion glaring said "As you wish...". Signaling with his hand, the Sith Horde advanced. Kato spinning his lightsaber, moved into stance. Kara and Kirna stood together, cover each others back. Kato using his mind contacted Kara. "Kara I have idea" Thought Kato. "I'm listening" relayed Kara. "Remeber what we did in the tunnel?". "Yeah". "I want to do it again, but this time with great force" though Kato. "Alright, it's worth a shot" thought Kara.
"On my signal, I want you to tap into the true nature of the Force" Thought Kato. "Understood" relayed Kara. After whispering the plan to Kirna, Kara returned to her stance. Kato gripping his lightsaber, prepared himself for the technic. As the Sith approached, Kato tapped into the Lord of the Force's power. His eyes began to shine bright blue. And a bright white glow surrounded his body. Kara's body was simliar, with some subtle diffrances. Watching Darth Arion eyed them, his face painted with puzzled look. Holding out his hand Kato began speaking in an unkown tounge. Kara spoke simliar words. As the Sith Horde engaged, Kato said "Now!". Emmiting from there bodies, a massive white shockwave passed through the room. Sith close to them became crushed and many lost body parts. Several where throw into the cavern walls, where they were shattered against the rocks. Darth Arion was thrown as well. He slammed against the rocky wall. Breathing heavily Kato's bright white glow and his blue eyes faded. Both him and Kara nearly colapsed to the floor from exhaustion.
After a short rest, Kara and Kirna procceded out of the cavern. Kato catching his breath, picked up Zog and carried him out. Taking him to the ship, Kato placed him with Kirna. Standing on the lose spoil, Kato took a deep breath. Suddenly he heard a faint cry. Turning around he saw a Jedi, running towards him. The Jedi then stopped dead in his tracks. His body began to shake rapidly. Suddenly the Jedi fell to the ground. Kato ran to his aid, and gripped him in his arms. The Jedi looking Kato in the face began to speak. But suddenly his eyes dilated and he colapsed. Emerging from the tunnel, Darth Arion lowered his hand. His face was gashed and covered with cuts. Staring at Kato he said "That was impressive display of power". "But nothing is going to me from killing you!". Kato laying the body down, grabbed his lightsaber. Standing in his stance Kato activated his lightsaber. His face looked worn and his eyes heavy. Kato did have much strength left. Looking out of the ship, Kirna watched as her Uncle ignited his bloodred lightsaber.
Grabbing her lightsaber Kirna prepared to engage, but she was stopped by Kara. "Lute me go" she cried. "No sister, it's too dangerious" said Kara. "I want to help Kato" said Kirna. "So do I, but we mustn't" said Kara. "I barly have anything strength left, and your still wounded". "We wouldn't do any good to interfer" said Kara. Kirna sighed and joined her sister back on the ship. Meanwhile Kato and Arion circled each other, holding saber erect. With a quick manuver Kato engaged. He stroke missed, exposing his right side. Arion taking the advantage, slashed Kato across his side and back with tow strokes. Kato wavered, almost falling to his knees. Getting foothold, he turned and clintched his teeth. Two orange burn marks, qucikly turned black on his body. Kato pressing through the pain, gripped his lightsaber and attacked. Using light strokes, he kept Arion at bay. Finally Arion went on the offensive, swinging his saber in unusal fashion. Kato parryed most of the blows, but was injured by a back spin.
Kato felt his strength slowly fading, there wasn't much he could do to stop him. At last Kato was slashed across the chest, knocking him unto his back. Arion hovering over Kato spun his saber in cross like fashion. Then holding above him Arion said "Goodbye Jedi...". Seeing Kato in peril, Kirna sprinted out of the ship. Arion blade slowly desended towards Kato's chest. And with a swift extension oh her hand, Kirna ignited her lightsaber and blocked the blow. Holding in lock up, Arion said "Brave of you, but also foolish". Kirna broke the lock up and began swing wildly. Arion backed away, parrying most the blows. Kara exited the ship and helped Kato up. Bracing him under her right arm, Kara helped Kato aboard the ship. Once inside, Kato colapesed in a chair and rest. Outside Kirna continued to engage Darth Arion, swining her saber with great fury. Arion smiled as he countered and began swining fast strokes. Kirna parryed and struck him in the side. Arion became furious, he went into frezy of attacks and then used Force push to knock her off her feet.
Leaping unto Kirna, Arion pressed his blade against hers. Trying to overpower her, he gripped her handle and pressed against her arm. After struggling, Kirna broke free and knocked Arion off. She then attacked him in a series of powerful strokes. After parrying the blows, Arion extended and emmited lightning bolts from his finger tips. The bolts strucks Kirna, causing her to drop her lightsaber and fall to the ground. Standing over her, Arion continued to unleash bolts of lightning. Kirna shook as the lightning surged through her body. Kara seeing her sister suffering, exited the ship. Slowly she moved towards Arion's postion. Arion ending the lightning, used Force grip to raise Kirna into the air. Gripping his lightsaber he said "Blood of my blood is no more". Then with a smile he thrusted his lightsaber. Kara extending her hand shouted "Jira!". A blue bolt emmited from her hand and struck Arion. Arion fell to the side and began shaking uncontolably. Kara running to her sister, caught her as she fell. Kara now holding Kirna in her arms, turned towards the ship.
Heading up the ramp, she laided Kirna on a seat. After pressing control panel, the ramp retracted. Kara pressing a few controls, setted quardants for Courcant. After brief pause, the engines ignited and the Ship soared into the sky. Stopping above orbit, Kara activated the hyper drive. And in flash of blue light, the ship went into hyper space.
