A Jedi's duty
As the battle raged on, the Sith hordes prepared to breech the Temple. The massive black ships above latcxhed unto the Temple's stone and began thrusting upwards causing the stones to quack and collapse. The Entire Tempel began to shake uncontroablly and many of the Jedi lost their footing and fell to the floor. Alas the Sith's efforts were sucessful and their were now several entry ways into the temple. The Jedi Knights who had been holding at the front entance rushed to the new opening and met the Stih hordes in cobmat. Sabers hummed and danced as the combatants fericley engaged. The valiant Jedi Knights held their own, beating back the Sith hordes. However the knights made a fatal mistake in spliting up to contain the new openings and as a result they were overrun.
THe Sith army poured in through the passageways liek a flood, cutting threw many of the Jedi defenses. A band of Elite Sith detouring from the others headed deep into the temple's chambers. Alas they reached the Council chambers where they found one, only one Jedi seated in the Council's circle. The Elite Sith Band movedi nto postion and cautiously approched the Jedi. The leader whom's face was carved with pagan markings spoke in raspy voice "You there.., are you all remains of the former Jedi Council?" The Jedi's head rose upward and hsi gaze met with the Sith's. "Aye, I am all that remains of the Council". The Elite Sith smiled revealing golden fangs. With a signal he ordered the other Elite Sith to surround the Jedi.
Steppnig before the Jedi master the Elite Sith held his ignited blood red lightsaber and said "Now your Order ends..." The Elite Sith moved in closer to the Jedi Master, when with smile the Jedi said "Oh I don't think so". Suddnely the lcosest two Sith where flung backward into the stone walls. The other two leapt foward, but where in mid air haulted and tossed into each other. The Elite Sith Lord hissing moved foward causiously. The Jedi stayed seated, whle unclippnig his lgihtsaber from his belt and placing it on the arm rest. "Now Sith, engage me in single combat". THe Sith hissed and replied "Do you think me a fool?" "I shall not step any closer" Smiling the Jedi Master said "Very well". Spring from his seat, in one motion the Jedi ignited his lgihtsaber and clashed with Elite Sith Lord. THe sabers hissed and crackled as the two eagned each other in a duel.
The Jedi fought with such grace and style. His moves seemed laid back and relaxed, giving the Sith the idea that he was only toying. when suddenly the Jedi broke out in an aggresive set of powerful blows that nearly knocked the Sith of his feet. Holding in a lock up the Jedi Master smiled. The Sith not understand much, was baffled by thel ook in his eye. Their was something mroe to this Jedi. Suddnely the Sith was thrown backard agaisnth the wall and before he coudl blink hsi face hit the pavment. A cosntant ringing filled his ears and when he raised his head to look upon the Jedi, he foudn himself looking at him face to face. Grappnig the Sith by the kneck the Jedi Master lifted him against the wall. The Elite Sith Lord looknig into the Jedi's eyes asked "Who are you?" The Jedi smiled and said "I am the sole remaing Member of the Jedi Council, I am the Servant of the Almighty Adonai, I am Master Kato Si.." With those last few words Kato struck the Sith in the gut.
And watching the sith's eyes dim he tossed him aside. The last of the Sith Elite had by now fled. Kato standing in Council Circle, de activated lightsaber and looked above. In the sky he saw the massive black ships and the cables leading to them. Leaping upward Kato grapped unto one of the cables and began the long climb upward. Once at the tope he made his way inside the cargo bay. There he watched as fighters, shuttles, and skiffs load and depart. Kato sneaking past soem gaurds made his way towards the bridge. Fourtantly the Sith mannig the shisp weren't all the smart, for they hadn't yet sesned his presence. On the bridge a Sith Commander ordered that the fighters be laoded with cunculssion bombs and that they should just level the Temple. But before this order could be deleivered, Kato sprung foward and struck two of the closest gaurds. The Sith Commander turned and in great shock shouted "A Jedi on board!". The Commander ignited his lightsaber whip and called to hsi comrades "Get him".
Two of pilots leapt to their feet and ignited short lightsabers. tHey engaged Kato in combat for a short while. For Kato quickly slayed them with two simple yet effective moves. The Commander enraged said "Rrrr, Incomptance must I do everything myself!". Kato smiling said "It looks like you've chosen your firends poorly". the Sith Commander rsuhed foward and began swinng his whip wildly. Kato doged and blocked the saber whip. It was diffcult duel, for Kato foudn himself unable to get clsoe enough to strike. Finally Kato reverted to using the Force. He sent several pieces of equipment hurrlying towards the Sith Commander. Swinging his whip the Sith Commander cut through the debris and charged Kato. Kato leapt overhead, clearing the Commander compeltely. Landing on metal fllor, Kato quickly tossed his lgihtsaber towards the Commander. Using the force he spead the saber uo and caused it ot rotate maknig it harder to block. The Sith Commader with great effort tried to block the floating lightsaber. However he failed and saber cut through hisl ower body like a twig.
Spliting in two halfs the Sith Commander collapsed to the cold metalic floor. Kato walking over to the corpse picked up his lightsaber and turned to the bridge controls. Using the Force he caused the turrents and missle pods to direct fire at the other ships. Tons of small fighters and shuttles hurrled dowanwards in blazing balls of fire. Then tunring the Ship he postioned it towards one of the other Crusiers. And with the Force he plotted a colission course.THen evaucating the bridge he headed to the Cargo bay where after soem risisstance he slide down the same black cord he had came up. Ladning safly below, Kato watched as the two black shisp collided. A Massive explosion filled the sky and large chuncksd of debris hurrled towards the surface. After a slight smile Kato made hsi way back into the temple where he met up with some fellow Jedi.
