Kay Finished making her arrows and started back away from the archery range and walked by the stable petting her horse

How could i have ever been so skeptical Swiftwind when i was in school and i found this magical world.

Swiftwind: Kay you have been in Narnia long enough to remember when you were skeptical Narnia is magical and your a friend of Narnia you can't just dismiss it.

Kay: Swiftwind i am not saying i am skeptical now i just wonder what is going on with me i never have been able to shoot like that even when i was in school or at camp learning archery.

"You have always been a good shoter Kayleigh" swiftwind said " in alot of battles you faught and you were one of the best archers. Next to Queen Susan and Queen Lucy. "

Kay brushed swiftwind and hummed some music some faun music she heard remembering how she danced with the fauns.

Meanwhile, Horatius was chiding the Magpie, "Was your egg hard-boiled before you hatched out of it? Don't you see this is a shooting range you've wandered into? What if that Daughter of Eve had shot one more arrow? Now look, here come two others with _their_ bows, so get clear!"

Susan and Aravis had come out; and, as soon as Horatius had made sure the range was clear, they shot four or five times each to warm up for the day.

[That's a painless way to assert that Susan and Aravis _are_ still around.]

ooc Cf thanks for helping me out there sometimes just forget to be more detailed with my posts and somtimes they are not as clear as they should I will try to work on that. I just get into character and run with it.

DH and Cf i am getting off for a little while but i might be back on later don't go any further without me.

~Sorry guys. I had school and also I live in a diffrent time zone so I am on at diffrent times to you... Just to be aquard.... Copperfox am I bringing Lord Krentell with me?~

OOC to Loverble: No. Not only would two passengers be too heavy a load for the Gryphon who transported you, but Krentell has to report back to his own king, Cor. Given that Gryphons can't fly at supersonic speed, realistically Peter will have joined the others by the time you get there.

Do you have a die to roll? Even a coin to toss? I suggest you leave it to chance whether Tumnus, from the air, detects where the others are, or if he just returns to Cair Paravel and then is told that Peter went off to be with the others. Also READ what has passed lately: another player has joined, but is assumed to have been there all along.

~I have read it. It took me a good 20 mins... But I have. Erm I think I will go to the castle and then be sent off. Would make more sence....~

The next morning the three of them proceeded to wake up. After a quick breakfast they all made their goodbuys. "Thank you for your hospitality Hermit. Your infomation has been most enlightning and I will keep this in mind and will tell the others straight away." He bowed to the Hermit and then spoke to Lord Krentell. "It has most enjoyable to meet you."

Lord Krentell then also bowed to them both and agreed with Tumnus' sentiments. "I will be going back to King Cor. I then promis to tell him this infomation as well."

Then Tumnus turned around and walked over to his resting Gryphon. "Please can you take me back to the castle" He asked and then boreded him and they took off on their long jearnoy.

Say, Dayhawk, what SEASON of the year is it supposed to be?

Peter was delayed slightly in departing Cair Paravel, as Dranvalan the Antelope (still under Yedulia's care) nagged him about punishing Satyrs. Peter somberly told him, "It is because of our investigating your misfortune that the Satyr who injured you is likely to have her head chopped off for first-degree murder. Don't feel too bad about the fact that this sentence, if it is imposed, will not technically be for the harm done to you."

Then at last the High King was on his way. He left his helmet behind, leaving room on his head for his crown, but wore chainmail on his body beneath a surcoat. Besides the sword and dagger at his hips, he had his shield with him on the spare horse, along with two spears that could be thrown. These would not travel as far as his sisters' arrows, but at close range would have greater penetrating power when launched by the arm of the High King.

He thought of making another magical call to Lucy, but decided not to risk agitating her in her current uneasy state by possibly interrupting her in something. She would call him if she wished to.

Watching Peter trot away, Angela wished that it had been she and Edmund who were bound together by those mystical communicative artifacts. After all, she and Edmund were MARRIED, while Peter and Lucy were ONLY---

She stopped herself at this thought. Being married did not make her and Edmund BETTER than Peter and Lucy, only fortunate in a way Peter and Lucy had not been. If Peter and Lucy had no fellow mortal to be closer with than they were with each other, it was not because either of them lacked an abundance of the virtues that would make for a good spouse; rather, it was more a matter of Lucy's life being filled with devotion to Aslan, and Peter's life being devoted to the good of Narnia.

But now Angela had her turn to serve the kingdom, by promoting its justice. She had been left with royal authorization to form a tribunal for the indictment stage of trying the sororicidal Satyr Zelzil. A final judgment would not be rendered until one or more of the rulers returned; but Angela would see to the gathering and recording of testimony.

"Oreius," the Princess-Consort said, "if you sit on the tribunal with me, whom would you recommend for a third?"

"Normally, I would strongly consider Councillor Tumnus," replied the Centaur commander. "But Aslan may prefer him to continue his involvement with the quest for a new Hermit of Archenland. Perhaps we should bring in Grodlork the Satyr elder to be the third."

"I thought of him," remarked Angela; "but feeling is so stirred up among the local Satyrs right now, that I can't say if including him would make a fair proceeding for Zelzil more likely, or LESS likely. And perceived fairness would probably suffer if I made Vesta the third, what with her being the arresting officer."

"A complete outsider to the process, then," suggested Oreius. "Any Talking Beast who is known for wisdom and integrity, and who can be rounded up soon."

Meanwhile, while the Queens and Ladies were doing their archery practice, Edmund had been doing some sword fighting practice himself. But now he was finished and he was eager to continue on the journey. But first he wanted to check on Lucy and Susan to hear their counsels.

"Dear Sisters, I am eager to continue westward on this march but first I wanted to ask you about your thoughts on the matter. I especially would like to hear from you Lucy, what are the news from the High King? I have this strong feeling that Peter wants to do something than just stay at Cair waiting for any news from us. Lucy, I know you and the High King have a special connection. What are His Majesty's wishes?"
"If he is coming with us, should we wait for him, or can we get going and let him catch up? or is he going somewhere else?"

In this particular case, I can speak for Dayhawk in her sorely-missed absence. She had used the magic necklace to speak with Peter; and he, realizing her uneasiness, offered to pass off all governmental business for her sake and come out. Lucy had jumped at the offer. Peter advised the party at the inn to make wide north-south sweeps talking to Narnians about the quest, while Peter would hasten straight west to overtake them.

(OOC: Hoping for answers from the Ladies themselves)

"As it is, and per your request, Lucy, we have people and beasts looking for clues, some going north, some going south, and back. If the High King meets us either here or further west, I hope we can give him a little more information."
"And when the High King has joined with us, (if that is his wish), it will be a great Royal enterprise to equal any battle or struggle that Narnia or Archenland has ever been in.>"
"The only one who will be sorely missed by all, but more so by me is my true love, Lady Angela. But I know that she also has a duty and a destiny that Aslan has entrusted to her. She is a great choice to run Cair Paravel's administrative and judicial duties while we are away!

OOC: CF: Thanks for telling Lady Angela "Princess-Consort." I had no idea what she would be, seeing that, unless Aslan commands, she cannot be a Queen (as any other lady married to a king would be under normal circumstances) as Aslan ONLY established 2 Kings and 2 Queens.

I'm learning how often people DON'T look over past entries; and even I, who try to see all posts on the RP, somehow missed catching the change in who's (theoretically) playing Susan. So before I go to bed, ANOTHER update:

Since Dayhawk and I have had good dialogue bits as Lucy and Peter, she invented the device of their having the two halves of a sort of magic cellphone which only works for them, activated by their love for each other, so we could write more conversations between us. In this way, Lucy expressed her nagging uneasiness to Peter on the second day of the story. Peter's reaction was to offer to come join Lucy. Angela, Edmund's wife, has been left in charge of the initial stages of a murder trial for the female Satyr who killed her sister on the opening morning of the RP. Talking Birds who are escorting Peter as he rides west will fly on farther once they've convoyed Peter to his siblings, so as to try to learn the whereabouts of eagles whom Peter had sent out surveying before the story began. Tumnus will be able to join the main group of characters before much longer. Aravis is presumably being wonderful, but we aren't hearing about it.

"Brother, Peter said to continue westward and that he'll catch up to us. And Angela does send her love to you Ed." Lucy said with a smile, kissing his cheek like she knew Angela would.

"Thanks Lu, I mean Your Majesty. I do miss My Lady Angela, even though it has not been that long."
"Very well, I will send and advanced party to scout while we all get saddled and victualed for the next stage of our journey."

"Ah good," she said, "Ebony could use some exercise."
"Hey!," Ebony said, "Im not that fat!"
"Fat enough to cause your foot to swell, now come on we'll start with a lite trot and get into a canter later."

"My Lady, said Phillip to Ebony, if you should need any assistance, please called on this humble servant, but I think little trot would do wonders for myself too."

"Well friends, said Edmund to both the horses, we are not in a race or in a battle. We will only go as fast as needed. I hope not to put any undue stress on the both of you."

"I think I am ready to depart. Are all the Queens and Ladies ready, your Majesty and dear Sister?"

OOC: We can wait for a while. After Ed's next remark of course ;):D

*Edmund to Lucy, as he mounts on Phillip*

"Lucy, would you let me know the moment you speak with the High King again? I would like to be prepared with something of a report when he overtakes us."

"Well usually I contact him, but yes I'll let you know," she said as she mounted Ebony.
"Looks like you could loose some weight too," Ebony said to Lucy, even though she didn't really mean it.

(ooc I'll have to get to class soon, in about 10 mins.)
