The Arwenites and Eowynites.

I never said that. Sir G brought up the doom of men. I brought up the doom of elves. Stop twisting my words.
And however wise and great the elves may be at the beginning they were just like humans- and elves have longer lives so they live to make more mistakes!

Gah, the Arwenites hacked Pandora radio! Rivendell music is playing!:p

She speaks of Feanor and the atrocities commited over the Silmarils. For that our race doth ache and feel bitter sorrow. :(

Exactly my point. Humans die before they suffer such things. Therefore, it is the elves doom to live on and to not be free of their hurts like humans are.

That wasn't even her. In the book Arwen was nowhere near the ford. It was Elrond who called up the flood, because the river had been breached. Gandalf added the horses. That was a liberty taken in the movie, and may I say it was not one that I particularly liked.

Then the Edain are weak. They can't endure the hardships of the world and thus must perish.

Actually it was Frodo Baggins who chanted something in Elven that called up the Water Stallions. And yes it wasn't Arwen that came to the Ringbearer's aid, it was Glorfindel. :p

Satyr, there are two of us currently. That's a pretty sad line. The good thing is they only have two people too.:p

If you really want a line though....

*Frodo, Shadow, Smokey, Fireheart, Jako, Creamy, Pumpkin and Tansy appear*
Frodo: *speaks for siblings* LFF Catliton reporting for duty to defend Lady Eowyn sir!:D

Well... I was talking to a bunch of NPC Rohirrim. But the Kittens are welcome, too.

For death and glory! For Rohan! Charge!!!

That is not our choice. If you want to accuse Eru of making a weak creation then by all means, do so.

No, Gandalf said he added them.

Rohan is about to fall. You have not the strength to resist the Eldar!

We had the strength to resist Sauron. We sent men to help fight him while defending our own borders, the elves couldn't even do that much.

Hmm.. lets see.. Isildur took Sauron's Ring and Theoden became enchanted by Saruman. You call that strength?

Theoden King also threw off Saruman's vile enchantments. Aragorn and Faramir both resisted the lure of the One. Elves grew frightened if they even heard the language of Mordor.

It had something to do with Eowyn commenting on Arwen's dress. Suffice to say, my Queen didn't appreciate Eowyn's frankness.

I've never liked dresses....

Oddly enough, neither Eowyn nor Arwen has been seen on this thread for quite some time. Apparently they've left their generals to fight for them. I wonder if they even know we're still fighting abut this......

Hmm.. now that you mention it, I haven't seen my Queen in years.

Well it's true! All Arwen ever does is try to show off for Aragorn!

Arwen models the latest Imladris and Lorien fashions. She's obligated to try them all and give feedback. In fact, there was supposed to a show in Minas Tirith this week.

Nothing creepy about it, because what if its Aragorn's will for her to enter them. Arwen is so magical and powerful as all elves are! She rules so much.

Ah, no, its creepy. She came to him when he was unconscious once, I don't think he had any choice in the matter.
Men rule far more than the elves. No, it wasn't always that way, but it is now.

Arwen probably does have power, but she never really used it in the war. Eowyn had no special powers except her courage and her spirit and she still fought to defend her people. Arwen was at home during the war and (as far as I know) did not fight. I realize the elves weren't very interested in fighting for a world they were departing from, but still. I personally value bravery and spirit more than someone who stalks her boyfriend in dreams and sits around moping.:p

Eowyn does deserve to be commended and respected for her valor at Pelenor. Her victory over the Lord of the Nazgul has been recorded in our songs, poetry, and prose. A part of me wishes this War of the Eldar and Edain would end. Until that day comes, I must raise the Banner of the Evenstar and fight the good fight.

No. It can't end. All the other people I war with in Dufferland have been scared away. We have to keep fighting for the honor of these two great women.:p

If you insist. *Blows elven horn* By order of Elrond Half Elven all Eowynites shall be expelled from their lands. If you do not comply with the Exodus, you will apprehended and placed in the dungeons of Angband.
