Welcome to the new characters! Hopefuly we can get this thing going soon. I am not able to get online very much though just for like 45 minutes a day....sad I know. Soon I'll have more access.

Kathryn jumped. She was holding onto a rope that connected her to her horse. She stiffened, her grip tightening against the rough texture of the rope.

"It's okay," she said. She noticed a blazing fire in her eyes, as if she had a power...

Kathryn gulped. She never met anyone with a power except for the Professor. "Do you know your way around the city? I need some food; and I'm terribly lost."

She glanced back at the academy and decided that it could wait; perhaps this person really was a kind like her.

That's cool Destiny. Can you pick a pic to go with your character details? I would like to add that. I personally like the third one down because she does look like a fire princess and it's small enough (but not too small) to fit perfectly in the format of the posts.

IC:
Arcturus woke up the next day and found himself inside an earthen room with a roof. He looked at Terran, his earth manipulating companion, who was still asleep, and smiled. He also glanced at his other companions. Acela was much like himself, brought up in a humble place and raised to always be helpful and never take anything or anyone for granted. She was very pretty too, as he now noticed.

And then there was Princess Sienna. How strange that this beautiful Princess was traveling alone, no royal escort, no ladies-in-waiting, not even a page. He wondered what summon would hold this great power to compel such a gracious and powerful Princess to leave everything, including her kingdom behind.
The call they all heard must be very important, and very powerful.

"We have to do something today," he thought to himself. "I cannot continue to wander around and wait to see what happens."
"I don't know if it would be wise to separate and agree to meet at certain area or to continue together and find some clues as to what we are supposed to do here."
After getting out of the earthen cabin, he once more looked at the immensity of the city.
"I wonder how we are going to find anyone, or anything."
 
"Good Morning Acela." He smiled. He noticed that Acela was going to have her morning wash so he looked the other way and actually began to take a few paces away, so as to not intrude on her.
In a higher voice, to make sure Acela heard, he said, "I hope we can move into the city as soon as the others are awake."
Still looking at the great city.
"I feel we need to make haste."
He then began to think what destiny was he supposed to find here. "I wish my mother had explained a few more things before I left," he thought to himself.
 
"Alright, I am done, thank you."she said, drying her hair with a cloth, she was dressed already. "I think we should try to get there soon, also."she agreed.

OOC: or maybe the are very heavy sleepers. lol
No ok. this is what we can do, if you want. We can go to the city to get food and bring it to them, in the city we can make up whatever, maybe even bump into the other characters. When the others come, we can pretend to send a message to meet somewhere.
If you have another idea let me know. Also, if you prefer, we can stop and wait for someone else.

OOC: OK, let go get some food and start beating the ... never mind, let's go.

IC:
"I think that maybe we should let them sleep for a while."
Turning around and walking back to where Acela is, now that she's finished with her wash.
"Do you think that we both could venture into the city and see what is there? I don't thinks the Princess and Terran would mind. We might find food and we can bring it to them."
Looks inside the earthen cabin. "Besides, I rather think they are tired and need their sleep more than food right now."
 
Arcturus saddle Rapidan also and they both mounted and rode towards the first streets they saw. Arcturus was looking for some sign, some smell that would let him know that there was food.
"The city does not look good up close," he said turning to Acela. It looks pretty gloomy. We may run into anything here."
 
"Well if we run into trouble I can blind them with light or darkness. Or I can shock them, but that wouldn't be good."she said laughing.
 
"Well, no. It wouldn't do to shock someone who could give us useful information."

OOC: what do you think should happen? do you have an idea to make this entry into the city, scary? fun? dramatic? Robbers? peddlers? anything, "girls" wooing Arcturus or maybe guys staring at Acela in a menacing way? I mean, anything can happen to two young strangers in a city.

"I know, I was just fooling."she said smileing, she started to trot a little.
