ooc: yeah. but you do know this has all like happend in less than a day. While he has seemed dead for about a week of RPGIng he's only been dead a a day and a half.

IC: Rigel watched as the people of the city waited by the castle for his father's funeral. Why did this have to happen to him. Why?
 
(ooc: Kim, this is where Aasen comes in. He was supposed to be in charge of preparing the ceremonies. wth? Where is he?

I also have to go for a while. I'll be back in about an hour).

(ooc AHHH! poo you should have told me first ding dong! lol)

"Oh!" Aasen said as he pulled Leila to her feet. They ran to the grave site, and Aasen started to bark orders at the servants.

"What?"

"I have to take care of the funeral," Aasen said as he kissed her cheek, "The ceremony is tonight and I'm in chrage...can you help?"

"Of course, what do I need to do?"

"First find seating arangements then ask if anyone would like to say a few words."

"Ok." Leila smiled up at him then found a measuing rope and began to work out ther perimeters. She calculated that about 234 seats could be arranged. There would be 9 rows with 26 chairs in each. And still enough room for a walk way where Aasen (and she gussed herself as well) would carry the king's coffin to his grave.

Now she had to go and talk to the others.

Sienna saw the mass of people standing by the castle waiting for the funeral to being. She took Rigels hand in hers and sighed heavily. She saw at what a huge impact this had on everyone and couldnt imagine what Rigel was feeling.
 
" Anything to take this off my mind I feel so sorry for him," she told him, hinding her head in his chest " Have I told you about my father and how he dead?," she asked.
 
Arcturus saw that Aasen was taking care of the ceremony on this end, so he went over to where the personal doctor of the King was to talk to him about what had happened."

"Arcturus," Leila called to him as she approched him, "Are you gonna say anything, you know a few words about the king?"

"I did not know him that well. I guess I could say something. What I saw in the couple of times I met with him but other than that, I don't know. I do think the Prince should have the last words."

(ooc: man! this Chinese food was good!! I haven't had Chinese in a long time!)

"You don't have to," she said with a smile. She dreaded having to ask Destiny. But she didn't want the others to ask for her. She wasn't a coward.

(speaking of which when will DL be back on?)

"No one has to say anything. We have to follow the customary rituals of Alastair. I really don't know what they are. Especially rituals for a monarch's passing."
