The Lord of the Rings- J.R.R. Tolkien

You completely wrote down how I felt! That is EXACTLY the same reason why I loved Samwise the most!!

Oh and Faramir in the books is so noble. Especially when he knows the Ring is in his reach and he prefered to give it all up. His noble and pure character was so touching in the books. I am glad Eowyn ended up with him. I love books faramir

Well said my favorite hobbitess, it tis a shame Faramir was depicted so poorly in the films.

My mom would never let me do it, but since this person is the only person I'd trust after midnight right now, it won't matter. lol. Besides she'll probably drop me off at my apartment so I won't have to worry about any creepers. ;)

Or orcs. :p

Return of the King is over 3 and 1/2 hours long. Yeah, I know they're playing to the theatrical versions. My point is, things like that RARELY, if ever, start on time, so you're forced to sit for 20 minutes waiting for the event to start. That rounds out to about 4 hours run time.

The theatrical version of Return of the King is exactly 3 hours and sixteen minutes. I timed it once. The extended edition of it is like 4 1/2-5 hours, possibly longer. Next time I watch it all the way through on my computer I'll let you know the exact time.:p

Funny, because the last time I saw the theatrical of RotK, it was around 3 hrs, 26 min. That includes the end credits until it went back to the main menu. That is a complete run time because some people tend to watch the credits (i.e. me). Unless I'm confusing it with Revenge of the Sith (that I'm pretty certain is NOT over 3 hours long), I'm
nearly 100% certain that the minutes run closer to 30.

Random fact: FotR runs exactly 2 hrs. 57 min. and 10 seconds. TTT runs 2 hours, 58 minutes, 11 seconds (both including end credits run time), and I believe that even the extended editions count in the run time of the credits (at my estimation, that's around 30 minutes for RotK, since the regular credits run around 10 minutes, and the Fan Club credits run for 20). Unless I've counted wrong on every single time I've watched the EE's, the run time listed on the dvd cover(s) includes the run time of the credits.
