So.

There's not quite the same satisfaction in dredging up old thread when it was stickied anyway. But then again, there's also not quite the stigma. So...dredge.

Y'all are some Can followers! This thread has been dead since...since...the 11 month...November!

(Don't even say it. NOBODY do the calculations on how long I've been gone.)

Anyway. Has anything interesting happened? I hear Lossy is a tree...I am still ruminating on whether or not to believe this allegation. It is quite serious...

I say Lossy the Tree and Lossy the Lossy taste about the same so it doesn't matter too much.
 
She is a Tree; Freckles says so, and Freckles should know. Besides, if she's not a tree, how does she keep sending evil squirrels from her branches to attack me?
 
Dearest LoL, it is hard to carry on a one-sided conversation. I still serve the Can, I just did not wish to spam the Can's noble thread with DPs (yes I know that I was not the last poster). That being said, I and my lightsaber have been with the Can every day and I have made sure He stays well polished.
 
(Nobody likes the polish I use on Him. It's sad. No matter how hard I try to honor the Can, I always end up doing it wrong....)
 
I know how to spell your name, Lossëndil, I choose to spell your name Lossiful though.

The Cave I speak of is the Can's decked out house equipped with self-polisher. He lives there and it is the appropriate place of worship.
 
I honor the Can. I do not worship Him. Which is probably why I keep stuffing things inside Him. It's just that anything that isn't in the Can gets eaten by GG. *sighs*

The pair of you! Don't you know that wasting CW on polishing the Can is criminal on two counts? Good grief!

This sounds like a...less than fully glorious and resplendent sort of housing. I'm not sure I like the idea.

(Really, if you knew this for years and years and never came back to tell us poor innocents who didn't know the ways of the Honored, Magnificent, and Correctly Spelled Can, then I don't think we're the most criminal ones around.... Anyway-- Nuts, it's Waldo! *hides behind Can* *tries to get Sushi to hide behind Can, too*

I would think this would be obvious.
1) CW is an important substance in its own right, not to be used lightly.
2) Not that you even have it right now, and I should know. Because I have kept it all this time. Ask anyone.
3) But most importantly...



It doesn't help the Can be shiny! THIS is why that is obvious.
 
It is an act of devotion, not an attempt to increase the Can's shininess. Besides, I have organic CW, which is healthier and more Can-appropriate than the original processed variety.

(She always seems to show up when I start discussing my possession of CW, so I thought maybe we should just pre-empt her.)

Oh, and I don't think you can honor the Can with an act that diminishes the very thing that is good about Him. Just a thought.

I haven't diminished His shininess. Nothing can diminish His shininess. And you're the one who called Him an "it."

I know nothing can diminish His shininess, obviously, but that doesn't mean you should do anything that resembles trying... It's still disrespectful.
