Chapter 16
Reunited Families

So Jako and Misty and Mozart walked out bundled in cloaks and scarves into the sheets of rain that awaited them.
"You sure you wanna go now papa? The rain is pretty bad..."
"Rain? Rain? Rain does not stop me from getting to my little brother! C'mon you soft kit of mine! We're going to Reandalawo now!" cried out Jako.

Jak, Caspian, Dorthy, Toto, Frodo, Smokey, Shadow, Midnight and Flower sat in Reandalawo, looking altogether misirable.

Ribbony walked in with his Catlition.

"Hey kits, why the long faces?"
"Everything is wrong Ribbony!" wailed Dorthy as she broke out crying.... again.
"Not everthing kits! Now lets sing for all those friends o' yours, eh?"

Then Ribbony and Catlition began a merry song;

"Oh ooooo oh!
Theres a fox who stole me apple,
An a bird who took me pin,
But I could ne're be happyer,
Than while I'm ere with you!

Oh friddle diddle diddle diddy de daw, diddle diddle diddle do!

Oh my little friendes,
Why are you so blue?
Why don't ye sing a song fer me,
Before I turn green and yellow,
An look like a marmalade froo!

Oh friddle diddle diddle diddy de daw, diddle diddle diddle do dee!

Now some day when you least expect,
Your friends'll come runnin 'ome.
You'll se there smilin faces,
And wonder why you were ever blue!
You'll see em come through the big ole door,
And watch em run up to you,
And they'll say,
'I missed you, friend!'
And you'll say,
'I missed you too!'

So little ones don't you be blue,
Or you'll make me turn purple,
'Cause mark me words someday,
You're friends will be at the door!"

Ribbony had scarce finished the song when a loud nock could be heard all the way from out side in the pelting rain.

"LET ME IN! I must see him!" cried a voice.
"Lemme in, lemme in! Caspy, Caspy I'm here!"
"Jakieeeeee! Let your ole bro in, tis cold out here!"

Jak and Caspian sprang up.

"Mozart!"
"Jako!"

The two ran outside and unlatched the door, only to be pummeled by three very happy cats, Mozart, Misty and Jako.

That night was a very happy night for all of the cats and kittens and other creatures of Reandalawo. The rest of the night would've been spent celebrating, but Dora put it all on hold.

"No parties yet! We need time to put together a feast and games and oh my this place will be a frackus!"

"Whats a frackus?" Misty asked Dorthy.
"I'm not exactly sure." was the reply.

Dora overheard them and said,
"Maybe we should have a school for certian reasons."

Despite Dora's warnings the festivities started. Dancing, singing, games and prizes and many other things took place that night. At one point Jako was asked to sing a song for all to hear. So Jako, Jak and Mistyfoot clambered up onto the big table. A hush fell over the creatures, then Jako and his boys began.

"It's been a long day, right boys?
Long long day oh long long day!
Well then lets sing about it, right?
Right right right!

Long day it twas, lots to do
Couldn't a ever done it without a you
Done it without you you you
We went.......

Mountian climbin
And tree branch ridin
And licking dryin
And kitten hidin! Oh oh oh!
Oh oh oh!

We weeeeeeent,
Jumping off the biggest wall
We went flyin round the bend
We hit our heads together on a log made of soy milk
We flew around the apple tree
And yelled at the birds
"Can'tcha can'tcha see,
We're flying about this here tree?"
Tree tree tree!

And we went....
Jumpin down each other shirts
And throwin out ole spiders
And poking holes in our nightshirts
So we will look a sight
A sight a sight a sight!
Of fright of fright of fright!
And we tossed around a ball,
Made of moss rock
And hit each other on the heads
But it nere hurt!

So that tis what we did today
Hope ye did enjoy
Our little ditty frickus mitty
Of what we did today
Come back a morrow
We'll 'ave more things to say
But for now thats all,
For today today today!"

Needless to say the song left most of the creatures literally rolling on the floor laughing.

Need to write more story. oy, i've been busy though. School starting, homework, my cousin being here this week, wears a body down, ya know? I'll post as soon as I have the time though.;)

Things were a frackus in Reandalawo as Dora predicted they would be. Creatures of all kinds ran back and forth between cellars, kitchens, dining halls and an assortment of other places.
By evening everything was in order. Food was being set out on the big table, which had to be widened by two smaller tables because there were so many creatures at one time.
Frodo and his sisters watched as the food was set out. Smokey stuck out a little paw and nabbed a pawful of frosting, which the three proceeded to lick.

I won’t tell you about all the foods they prepared, for it would only make you have wanted to be there. But it was a great time, full of fun and celebration. Jako and Misty had finally come back after thought to be dead for months; Mozart had also come back, and ever since the fight with Jak the little kitten had been well appreciated.
To add to the celebration, Ribbony and his Catlition were there, and they had not been seen for years. So it was a triple celebration that happened at Reandalawo.
Excuse me, I’ve forgotten something! The former captives, Missy, Tori and her kittens, were the fourth reason. The three little kits had never seen so much food and wanted a little of it all.
“Smoke, pass me that whachmucallit.”
“On’y iffin ya pass me that whatsitmuthinger.”
“An pass me that fing-ermuwat too while you’re at it Frodo.”

Mozart sat with her three siblings; Dorthy, Caspian and Toto, and after days of being apart the four were finally together again.

Chapter 17
Plans

Shawnti shivered under Cogg’s stare. She could not shake his eyes from her.
“What am I going to do with you cats? Too soft if you ask me. Letting the enemy get away like that. First Tigerclaw, then you Shawnti, failures both. But my father always told me, if you want something done, do it yourself.”
“If I may ask, what will you do, my lord?” said Shawnti.
“I will keep them in, starve them out. They may live the final times of summer and coming fall, but winter will not provide enough food to keep them all alive. They will beg me to let them out so they can save their young… I have seen it before.” Replied the ruthless wolf.
“Shall I tell the troops, my lord?”
“What do the scouts say?”
“Reandalawo is in the middle of a celebration, why we know not. If it were me, I would say now is the perfect time to strike.” Reported the she-cat.
“Then perhaps, Shawnti, you are no total waste.”
Shawnti shuddered as she received her orders.

Activities were in full swing at Reandalawo. The creatures there played many games; horse-shoes, ball games, tug-o-war and an archery tournament were a few.

When the archery tournament came, Dorthy took her place by Clancy.
“Hey, kit, you think you’re gonna hit anything with that tiny bow?” said a nearby fox, Dorthy remembered his name as Tearol.
“I’ll show you tiny!” she called back.
“Load arrows! Point down! Here are the rules; no intersecting another’s arrow, no kicking, no throwing fellow archers off their game…. And no aiming at other creatures miss Dorthy!” cried the announcer in exasperation as the she cat pointed an arrow in Tearol’s direction.
“Party pooper.” Muttered Dorthy.

“Reaaaaady! Aim! Fire!”

Dorthy’s arrow flew straight and true to its destination…. The exact center of the center of the bullseye.
“How’s that for tiny, eh?” said Dorthy to the astonished Tearol.
“Good job, girl! I’d hate to be an enemy while you’re around!” said Clancy.
Dorthy smiled, “Oh that’s nothin. Myrrh made us hit targets dead center like that… only they were about six to eight times further… the first time we did it.”
Tearol fainted in amazement.

“Well done missy, I could never get him to be quiet more’n one second each month! You got him to be silent for a lot longer! Ah the peace!” congratulated Raffell.

The creatures laughed heartily, not knowing that a deadly threat was about to assail them.
