Who Do You Want To Be The Voice Of Aslan?/ Brian Cox is the voice of Aslan!!!

Maybe the guy who did the voice for the Beast would be good, you know Robby Benson. <_< ( I was trying to find a thoughtfull face, but this is the closest one! :lol: )

Maybe not. These smileys are rather inadequate, but at least they're better than the AIM ones! <_<
Anyway, good call on Robby Benson... I mean, he did do a pretty good job as the Beast... I wonder why I didn't think of that before. But if James Earl Jones did Mufasa in "The Lion King", he still might be a better choice... hmm...
 
I'm trying to think of some more actors we know of, but there are few unique voices in the acting world. <_< Well, duh! That's why they're called unique! :lol:
 
how about having the guy who did the voice of gollum,smeagel do the voice of aslan...lol im just kiding.ive got a good idea...how a bout get the guy who did the voice of aslan in the older films by bbc.he did a great job.what about the dude who played gandalf do it.he has a firm but loving voice. :eek:
 
All right, that was a weird suggestion. Gollum. Hmm. :huh: Ian McKellen (Gandlaf) might do a good job ... I think Sean Connery would be great. ;) B)
 
hmm, Sean Conery, that is an intersting idea.... I think Robby Benson would be good because the Beast really portrayed a lot of emotion, but I will admit my first choice being whoever did Aslan in the BBC ones because after watching those his voice just stuck out as majestic but kind and if they don't choose someone as good as him I will be very dissapointed.
 
Yeah, Sean Connery is really an interesting idea. I liked his doing the dragon's voice in Dragon Heart. But they'll probably get someone we've never heard of. Oh, I hope we find out soon! The suspense is killing me! :lol:
 
At least we know they got a good model for Aslan (see news page). He looks really awesome. :)
 
Hmm, I never thought there was anything extrordinary about his voice... :mellow:
But, if he can change his ordinary voice into something richer and deeper then I suppose he'd be good. I think I'll have to rewatch the Hulk or watch Troy before I make my final judgment. :D :rolleyes: ;)
 
I think just the idea would be a little strange - seeing as he's so young and all that. It'd be a little odd for him to do the voice of the Great Aslan ... just my opinion ... :)
 
Well, he's got a similar voice to Val Kilmer, but Val Kilmer has already done the voice of God.
 
Yeah, but they had to add some special effects to his voice in that movie. Anyway, Val Kilmer may have done the voice of God, but I personally think that Aslan may have a different voice than all the other God figures in movies. Aslan is a lion. There's got to be something kind of wild and growlish character in his voice. I don't know if that would work with Eric Bana's voice. Maybe it would, but I don't know. :rolleyes:
 
Eric has a great ability to imitat and change his voice -
Before he was big in the U.S - He did years of Stand up comedy - and Skit Shows...

He imitated all sorts - from Australian Identities - To american - He is very good at that !

It's actually really odd to see him in serious roles - seeing as though I grew up on his sketch comedy....

Heh heh, voice of God. I just had a funny thought about the animated God from Monty Python and the Holy Grail playing Aslan. That would get some fans up in a tizzy. ;)

the effects were very subtle. They didn't ever change his voice, just added a whisper behind it.

After seeing Troy, I think Eric Bana would do a great job as Aslan.
