Vissarion spoke further to Darron:

"There are two very different ways of being sorry about our own wrongdoing. We can merely be selfishly sorry that we got caught...or we can be sorry for the wrong itself, wishing for it NOT to be any part of us anymore. My impression is that you, youngster, have the second kind of 'sorry'--which is good! And accept my word on this, God sees right inside you and knows which kind of 'sorry' is in there. But if it's only the selfish distress at being caught, it still is not too late to change that. Honestly, God gets no pleasure from having to condemn anyone. He can take even the a speck of genuine remorse, and enlarge it into real transformation of character."

"If I could," Darron said, "I would take back everything that I did and said. I had never intended to hurt anyone........"
Lisbeth had over heard him and snorted in contempt.

Not concerning himself with whether Jade had meant "Don't we all forgive" or "Don't we all doubt forgiveness," Vissarion spoke further to Darron:

(ooc oy. CF Jade didn't say that.

Meridia
Jade
Veragoe)

"Siad help me, I'm hungry."
"Nice Verra, we're stuck in this ...place and all you can think about is food. I hate you. Skinny little pig!"
Veragoe laughed, "I told you if you work out with me, you can eat whatever you want."

OOC: >> Jade looked at Darren, "Don't we all," her eyes smiled. So do you mean she was only _thinking_ that? On the assumption of a Yes to that, I am editing the part about Jade out of my above post.

(ooc she wasn't refering to the forgiveness, she was refering to the love aspect)

Vissarion stepped away from Darron to approach Lisbeth. "What I've been saying to that young man is NOT a matter of giving him a free pass to deny his accountability; nor would I ask you to approve of his past sins, much less to expose yourself to new injury. But God sees things with an eternal eye, and wishes to lead as many spirits as possible into a redeemed life which will infinitely outlast both our guilt and our grievances."

Before he could say more, everyone in the group heard something at once: a sort of creaking rumble from beneath the floor. Vissarion quickly strode over to Meridia and said, "Will you ladies please lead the others away from here? FAR away, and FAST? I think that something I encountered long ago may be here with us now, and some of those here are too vulnerable to be near it. I'll find you again later, if God wills it." Meridia now noticed that the tall, scarred man had a sword as well as his pickaxe.

OOC: Please LET Vissarion go away on his own for now, and invent other adventures for yourselves as you like. Due to my Dad's illness, I'm trying to reduce current online entanglements. You know, just in case.

"I doubt the little girl forgives you."

Jade looked at Darren, "Don't we all," her eyes smiled.

Ivan didn't answer for a while.
"She probably doesn't. I don't deserve it, and I don't claim that she does. But she is one of the stars now," he points to the ceiling, forgetting for a moment that there is no sky, "And It's told that the stars always forgive,"

"Not in our galaxy, usually stars like to make black holes to kill surrounding planets," Meridia said, "I suppose space travel is unheard of from where you're from. Stars are just big balls of gas."

Raj had fallen asleep and woke up in lisbeths arms, they had moved from the previous room and he was know hungry , tired and just wanted Sonali (his sister) o and bored.

I'm bored, can we play a game?

"Space travel? Why would you want to go to the stars at so young an age? Where I'm from...the elves have control of everything. Maybe they've got ways to reach the stars without death,"

"Sure. Let's play the 'let's not die' game!"

Meridia stared at him blankly. "Clearly his culture is not advanced," she said to Jade.
"I doubt any of them is from a place as advanced as ours."
"Come on, Darren is right, best leave now."

"The elves have guns. The elves have cars. The elves have members who have looked into the sky and spoken to the stars and planets. They may be liars, but the sky was brighter after Bram was killed," he shrugged, "Not everyone becomes a star, remember. The bad ones are the lava of the earth's core. Some are the grains of stand. Some become drops in the ocean. Only the very good become stars. The rest become earth,"

Meridia's eyes widen, "so people die and then become either balls of gas or dust? I can see dust, I can probably see liquid, but hot flaming balls of gas? Those elves or what ever really have your people messed up."

"Shut up its his culture dont make fun. I think its lovely that they can become stars, its such a romantic idea. The philosophy behind is simplisitic, almost child like innocence."

"Well Verra guess when you die you can become a star, I however will be sipping wild berry juice in the Fields of Haven. Have fun being a ball of bright gas."

Veragoe rolled her eyes, "Whatever."

"It's the breaking down into simple matter, but the sould remains in tact. They just appear different to us, and the cannot speak"

I don't have time for romantics. I only have time for truth.

Veragoe rolled her eyes, "Whatever."

"Don't you understand, stupid? It is not a ball of gas: It only appears that way to us. The souls of the good shine to brightly for us to behold"

Lisbeth sighed. She continued up the stairs with Raj, leaving the others, who were arguing, down stairs. Darron followed them quietly, hoping that Lisbeth would not lash out at him. He didn't want to fight with her.
