The original Little Women is the best version and the one I like the most. It's the one with Elizabeth Taylor. ;)

Yes, Elizabeth Taylor was a great choice for the self affected Amy!

If favorite means the movie I've seen the most times, though,
my favorite would be Cyrano with Gerard Depardieu

My top ones..I have tons:
Fiddler On the Roof
Young At Heart
The Last Sin Eater
Lord of the Rings
Sense & Sensibility
Anne of Green Gables
Nicholas Nickleby
King's Row
Tuck Everlasting
Anchors Aweigh
Singin' In the Rain

And too many more to write.:D

My favourites are (not in any order): The Secret Garden
Practical Magic
Star Wars
Harry Potter
The Chronicles of Narnia
The Lord of the Rings
The History Boys
Becoming Jane... and many more.

But the most is The Secret Garden. It's special for me :] and the book is great too.

Another cute film is "The Secret of Roan Inish". It is about a nine-year-old Irish girl named Fiona who lives with her grandparetns and fourteen-year-old cousin named Eamon.

A bitr more than a year earlier while living on the island Roan Inish with her family, her infant brother Jimmy was swpet out to sea in his cradle and never found. After that, everyone left the island with Fiona's father leaving her with her grandparents so he could work on the mainland.

After a few trips to the island on her own (one of which was accidental) she sees her brother running around, but never is able to catch up as he runs from her. Nobody believes her that she saw him.

It is a fun story that has a bit of fantasy when one of her cousins tells her the supposed story of her ancestor who met and married a selkie (a mytholigical Celtic being that is part seal and part himan). Part of the story seems to ring true as seals seem to be around whenever Fiona sees her baby brother.

It isn't a fantasy, however, it is just a fictional story about a girl who knows the truth and is drawn to the island where she used to live.

Between "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (Depp) and "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" (Wilder) I like the Willie Wonka one better. I like how it had more musical numbers, especially the "Candyman" song (you ever see the part in the song where the guy lifts the counter to let the children enter and accidentally hits a girl on the chin?) and the part where Gene Wilder sings the "Pure Imagination" song as the kids and parents are all running around the forst main room where everything is edible.

I also loved Veruca Salt from the first movie. I had a minor crush on her when I was younger. She was just so bratty that I loved her!

My favorite part of the first movie was the boat ride. Now that was amazing and I wished they had done something equivalent in the newer movie.

I agree with MrBob, I LOVED the older version. The new one is... creepy. I mean, don't get me wrong, I adore Johnny Depp, but the older one has so much charm.

At the moment, my favorite film is 17 Again :p But deep down inside, my ALL-TIME favorite is LWW
