You're Banned! II

Thou art banned, for by the end of the second movie, I fear that I did strongly desire Arwen's swift and certain death. (Too many Aragorn-loves-Arwen dream sequences. She wasn't quite as annoying in the third movie.)

Thou art banned, for I feared that the wrath of the forum would come upon me for such violent sentiments: I did, however, like Arwen in the books (which was probably a large part of my problem).

Thou art banned, for the colors in your avvie and siggy coordinate.

Glen, I agree wholeheartedly. ;) I'm surprised that you hadn't already seen the movies, though. I can't remember what made me think so, but I was sure you'd seen them. Am I confusing you with Lossy or something? :p

Thou art banned, for I also agree with Glenn and you about the Arwen of the movies. Yet alas, I wouldst take your dislike one step further with my dislike of Aragorn. (He was my favorite in the book, so noble with a hidden majesty. This alas again, only served to sharpen my disappointment of him in the movie. Yet I grant there were insufficient times when he shone in the film.)

Thou art banned, for tho' Aragorn may not have been wholly accurate, at least Legolas and Gimli were well done. (Although Legolas's slide down the elephant's trunk was pretty far beyond belief....)

Thou art banned if my words belied my enjoyment of the film. Though in lacked some J.R.R.Tolkien poetry, yet the films are among my favorites.

Indeed; and so I shall thee ban.

(And Zella, I ban thee as well, for I also prefer the movie Legolas--'tis no treason, I ween, for the book Legolas speaketh but little.)

Thou art banned for not only did I prefer Legolas, but Boromir as well.

It doth seem to me that I am ever with one more. Forgive me.
