Georgie Henley makes Debut in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
A budding Yorkshire actress has been announced as a star of the new Narnia film due to hit cinema screens this Christmas. Ten-year-old Georgie Henley, of Ilkley, will make her professional acting debut in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, which is set to rival Harry Potter at the box office. She was discovered by a casting director in her home town and was chosen from 2,000 hopefuls.

Narnia Test Screening: A First-Hand Review at The Stone Table
My family was one of a limited number of theater-goers selected to see the current production in progress, “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe” at a private test screening this past Wednesday. While the CG effects were not yet completed, music score was incomplete and production editing will surely change, we found the production to be a wonderful adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel by the same name.

Quint from AICN reports with the first batch of reviews from the test screening of THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE. Right now we have two, one from a Lewis fan that loved it to death and one from a non-fan that thought it was filled with a lot of missed opportunities, though still enjoyed the movie.
