Here’s an update on the soundtracks that are coming out this fall. As it stands, there will definitely be three soundtracks for the film: the Inspired Soundtrack, the Score and the Children’s soundtrack and here’s three proposed covers for the soundtracks, except for the children’s one.

Film Composer Harry Gregson-Williams has scored Ridley Scott’s recent release “Kingdom of Heaven” and completed scores for two new releases; Tony Scott’s “Domino” as well as “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” by director Andrew Adamson at his new production facility, Wavecrest Music.

Walden Media has added a Musical Explorations section to their website. It includes a clip of Mr. Tumnus’ Lullaby that you can listen to or play.

EMI’s Narnia Music Behind the Scenes video has appeared at HearItFirst.com. It has interviews and clips from Steven Curtis Chapman, Jars of Clay, Bethany Dillon, Jeremy Camp, Nichole Nordeman and Rebecca St. James. It’s well worth checking out to get a good preview of the Inspirational Soundtrack!

A who’s who in CCM lineup pays tribute to the long beloved childrens stories penned by C.S. Lewis on the Christian music version of Music Inspired By The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Over the past week, I’ve been doing some pretty heavy promoting of the Chronicles of Narnia. I worked at the Narnia booth at UnityFest 2005 in Muskegon, Michigan, handing out Narnia Passports and showing the trailer and behind the scenes material. I also had the opportunity to meet some bands, one of whom is involved in the Narnia Inspired Soundtrack, and another artist that is also involved. I’ve also heard the songs that they have contributed to the album, which hits stores on September 27th.

We got an e-mail from Kevin that points out what appears to be the final track listing, on Walmart.com, which includes a song by tobyMac called “New World”

We have received what may be the final order of songs and the final list of artists on the record. The David Crowder Band will be singing a song called “Turkish Delight”. The Newsboys and Toby Mac have been dropped from the project, however, Toby Mac’s name still appears on the album art that we have, so it is unknown if he is still involved.
