From Narnia.com: The final key role has been cast – Glenstorm the Centaur. British stage actor Cornell John, whose recent London stage roles include such high-profile musical productions as Les Miserables, The Full Monty, and Disney’s The Lion King, will play the half man, half horse.

Production on “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” is currently underway. Director Andrew Adamson took a break to welcome everyone to the production blog and give an exclusive peek at the filming of the next Narnian adventure.

The Colorado Symphony Orchestra (CSO) will premiere award-winning composer Harry Gregson-Williams’ “Grand Orchestral Suite” from the critically acclaimed The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe orchestrated and conducted by Gregson-Williams, Friday, May 18, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. at Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver. The concert will include images from the blockbuster movie.

Millions of film lovers around the world will get a glimpse of the magic beauty of river Soca, often called the emerald river, as parts of “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” are to be filmed in Slovenia, daily Delo reports on Thursday

Rather than resting on its recent achievements, the Stillking crew has plunged into two new film projects that will be filming in Prague over the next couple of months. Up at Barrandov, Prince Caspian, the second part of the Chronicles of Narnia, began shooting Sunday, April 1, while across town at the Prague Studios, the cinematic version of Mark Millar’s cult comic Wanted, under the helm of the Moscow-based Kazakh Timur Bekmambetov, is gearing up.

The Moving Picture Company in London is looking for some very high profile effects positions to be filled to help with the load of work they’ve acquired with Prince Caspian. They’re looking for a Lighting TD, Senior R&D Developer and Shader Writer.

Framestore CFC has taken over a lot of the effects work for the next Narnia film, and it appears they have a lot of work on their plate. Having worked on such high-profile film series as Harry Potter and Christopher Nolan’s incredible Batman reboot, they have the chops that this film requires.
