Reepicheep

Following the success of their debut range from The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe, Weta have once again teamed up with Disney Consumer Products and the talented technicians who worked on the highly anticipated sequel releasing this summer, The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian, to create a line of statues and miniatures based on the film.

Another report from BNAT 9 has revealed the voice of Reepicheep: “KnightShift” was in attendance at the event, and revealed more of just what went on with the Narnia portion of the event. You can’t blame others for not reporting on it. It is, afterall, 24 hours of straight film watching. Eddie Izzard (stand-up comic, voice of Bee Army General in Bee Movie) will be the voice of Reepicheep in the Prince Caspian movie.

If the animation comes out right, he could be one of those truly wonderful characters that folks can fall in love with.

After the Comic-con, MTV had a chance to talk with Richard Taylor. The visual-effects artist seemed very excited about where footage of Reepicheep was headed.

The International Christian Retail Show 2007 was held this last week in Atlanta, GA with many publishers displaying new Chronicles of Narnia products coming Spring 2008.

From Narnia.com, Warwick Davis will be playing Nikabrik the Dwarf in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Mr. Davis is 3’ 6″ tall (1 meter).
