Weta Holics has just posted an “interview” with one of our favorite characters from the new The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe film: General Otmin! It’s a fun interview, and I hope that you all enjoy it!
If there’s one thing a gal can’t resist, it’s a bad boy. So, when the opportunity arose to spend some one-on-one time with General Otmin from the White Witch’s army, I jumped at the chance!
But my goodness, some boys just don’t know when to put their ego to the side and just play nice with the ladies, y’know? Here’s what I can share with you…
Hi General Otmin. I thought I’d start with the basics. Could you tell me a little about your childhood and growing up?
General Otmin: “Already hitting with the personal questions, eh? Well, let’s see.
“Only child. The only cow-boy in my grade. Not many friends. Never really felt like one of the herd, ya know? Dropped out when still young to become a professional sprinter. Had to give that up when I injured my calf muscle at my first running of the bulls. (Probably a good thing, too. I never saw that whole ‘slaughter the bulls’ section in the brochure).
“While recuperating back at the barn, I got inspired by the ‘join me or get turned to stone,’ advertising campaign of the White Witch’s army and thought ‘What the hell.’ Enrolled. Rose through the ranks. And now I’m the head beef of the Queen’s army!”
You’re half man half bull. How does that go down with the ladies?
“Geez lady! Another personal question?
“Well… I’ve never been much of a ladies man/bull. Never had a relationship that’s lasted for more than a day or two. They just can’t get past the whole bull-face/man-butt thing. One even said it was too much like kissing a hairy steak.
