Hey everybody! This is Jonathon from Tumnus’s book shelf. I just wanted every one to know with the new tie-in books coming out that I have every intent to review all the new releases. I have just finished reading a good bunch of them and will begin posting my reviews.
This includes reviews of the “I Can Read” books, and story books like the Tale of Reepicheep. As your faithful book reviewer, I intend to even review those books meant for the youngest NarniaFans. I will make this disclaimer in advance: I will not be judging these books harshly. Just because it‘s a book meant for four year olds doesn’t mean it will get a 1 shield rating if it’s a good book for that age group it will get a high rating.
They are meant for little kids. Having little cousins, all under the age of ten that I love to read too, I will be viewing them rather as books to share with them, and other young NarniaFans. I’m always on the look out for books to share with tem as well as ones I can enjoy when I read to them too. However, I will not be viewing the activity books or coloring books. Those are more fun for you to do on your own.
there will also, no dubt be a host of scolarly and devotional style boosk coming out too. Expect to see them here as well. I should ahve a new reiveew about a new release on line every week, up untill the release of Prince Caspian, and maybe after!
It’s a great time to be a NarniaFan. We have the movies coming out, action figures hitting shelves, board games and of course plenty of new books. Aslan is on the move my friends, and at Tumnus’s book shelf, you can expect me to give you full coverage of his move in the literary world.
Further up and Further in!
PS. If any of you know of some of you know of some other new tie-in books coming out, please let us know! I will do what I can to track them down. Though not all at once. Gas prices and all…
