  1. Wow, that’s sssssssssooooooooooooooo neat! Too bad I’m not Australian; that would be sssssssssssoooooooooooooo coooooooooooool!

  2. Invisible ARMY as a working title? That wouldn’t make much sense to me, but I guess it is possible. But how/why would they focus the entire movie on the “invisible army”?

    • Well, Prince Caspian’s working title was Toasty, and that has nothing to do with the movie.

For the Star Wars films they used titles that also had absolutely nothing to do with the film.

This is common, to confuse people.

      • Aaaahhh. That makes sense. Well if that was the intention, it worked on me!

      • Actually, I was pretty sure that Toasty had to do with Reep and toasted cheese…

        • Actually, “Toasty” was used because of the toasted sandwiches the cast and crew commonly ate as a snack during the filming of the first film. (You will find that buried in the commentaries on the Prince Caspian DVD somewhere.)

    • The invisible army actually is in the book In the chapter about the Duffers some invisible somethings form an army against our heroes as they want something from Lucy

  3. that’s really interesting- they’re having a scene to do with WW2? that wasn’t in the book.
    hmm…

    • If this indicates what it seems to, this is great. It links the three films together, and provides the necessary background. I’m hoping that means we may get to see cameos of William and Anna as they are separated from there siblings, going their separate ways. Another great way to tie the films together.

      • Me too! i want Will and Anna to be in it, and this would be the best way to do it…

  4. Invisible Army? Like the…Oh…What are they called? The Dufflepods(?)! Weren’t they invisible?
That whole thing is AWESOME :D. I can’t wait sitting still for them to start filming!!! *Wishes she lived in Australia and was just about 4 years older*

  5. Even though I love America, I wish I were an Australian right now! *Sigh* All you lucky Australian Narnia fans, remember your fellow fans around the world!

I think it would be really cool if one of the opening scenes (which it sounds like it will be) were at a train station, since LWW and PC have both had train scenes. Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy could all be there. Peter and Susan going to their destinations, while Edmund and Lucy go to *gasp* visit Eustace! I would love it if Peter and Susan were in it for a minute or two!

What is a working title? I’ve never heard that term before.

    • Yeah, another train scene would be cool. I think they could tie one in to every movie!

  6. A train station scene would be excellent. It does provide a common thread for the first three films and The Last Battle as well.

  7. It’ll be easy for them to work trains into the five core Narnia stories, but, for the Magician’s Nephew, it might be forced and, for the Horse and His Boy, it would be nigh impossible.

  8. Just wondering, will there be a casting call for extras to be in the new Narnia flim thats going to be made because i really want to be an extra in anything really. I live on the Gold Coast and am really close to Brisbane so please reply as soon as possible please!!!

  9. WOOOOOOOOOO! I live 10-15 minutes away from one of the locations!!! I hope there is a casting call for extras when they’re shooting. It would be so cool to be in the movie. Love the books!!!!!! Love the story!!! All those who do not live in Australia, the Aussie Narnia fans will be thinking of you 😀

  10. I love the train motif!
Aussie narnia fans are underepresented in general. It’s time stuff went our way!

  11. hmm. I hope they will have some more extras casting for younger people, although in the book there wern’t really very many children at all.

  21. I’ve just recently moved into Queensland from Melbourne and have just learned of the production of the new Narnia film and was wondering if it is too late to apply for a part? I am 17 and would like to know how exactly, if still possible, to go about applying.

    Thanks

  22. I would really like to be a part of the cast as an extra.
I am in acting and live around the corner from one of the sets.
I visited it today and there are parts of a boat there and very much in the midst of construction.
does anyone have any idea who i can realistically contact in regards to extra casting?

    thankss

  23. Me too, if only a background extra. I could be a telmarine because I am half pacific islander, half aussie and have spanish ancestry.
