Things like this happen pretty regularly on movie sets, as weather doesn’t always allow for things to go as smoothly as possible. However, production studios usually plan for things like this to happen. For those of you planning on visiting the Cleveland Point filming, you might need to make a change in plans. The Bayside Bulletin reports.
AS the dates draw nearer for the Narnia cameras to start rolling at Cleveland Point, production staff are warning residents who plan to drop in and witness the action that filming could be delayed by a few days.
Shooting at Jumpinpin last week was delayed by a sandstorm, and any more unexpected weather events could potentially delay the start of Cleveland filming by a few days.
The Bayside Bulletin will have regular updates ? keep an eye on www.baysidebulletin.com.au for the latest changes.
The gold coin donation bucket has also been removed from the grandstand.
Although the bucket is unlikely to be reinstated, the proceeds of a few hundred dollars so far will still be distributed to local charities by Redland City Council.
FUN DAY
The council is also getting right into the Narnia spirit, hosting a Narnia Family Fun Day at Cleveland Library this Saturday, August 29, from 1pm to 3pm.

It was already delayed once. Can’t they start filming now? >:(
The movie making of C.S. Lewis’ allegories will go down in history as the greatest series of movies ever made. And to think that they all tell the wonderful story of Jesus Christ (Aslan) who came to die for sinners that we (me) might be made ready for heaven. Wow!
That’s the truth! 🙂
