Christian artist Scott Krippayne and his song-writing partner Jeff Peabody have just released a song that is inspired by C.S. Lewis’ book The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
Jeff Peabody writes: “The song was really a labor of love for many hours spent in Narnia. It’s one big metaphor for turning your life around and heading in a new direction. Scott and I have co-written many other songs together, and this turned out to be one of my favorites. I think Scott did a masterful job of evoking a nautical feel.”
It’s a very good song, and you can listen to it here. It’s not on the soundtrack for the film, as far as I know. Nor is there another Inspired by album of songs coming soon. This is a single by an artist that was moved by the story, and he wanted to write a song about it. If you enjoy it, you can order it on iTunes!
