Dawn Treader Trailer attached to ‘Harry Potter,’ ‘Tangled’

In what can only be seen as a very smart move, Fox has placed the latest trailer for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in front of both Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I and Tangled.  I’m not sure if this is a nation wide thing, but it’s a great way to catch the trailer on the big screen one more time before the movie is released on December 10, when we storm the cinema to make Narnia #1 at the Box Office.

Let us know if you see the trailer attached to either film this weekend!

If you’re curious which trailer you’ll see, it’s this one.

  1. 1st comment! lolz! indeed it was a smart thing to do… obviously… –,) … i watched different 3D movies already (TheLastAirbender,DespicableMe,Megamind) , and of course the VDT trailer was shown …and it was soooooo COOOLLLLL!!! –,) … then i just watched HP7 last saturday,Nov.20 and you bet… VDT international trailer was shown… i just wished i saw it in 3D (its Harry’s fault coz HP7 part 1 is not in 3D) … but anyways it was great! i can’t wait for December 3 !!! (yes! VDT will start hitting Philippine cinemas on Dec.3) … and im gonna watch TCON-VDT 3D in SM Mall of Asia digital cinema 3 !!! it’s gonna be AWESOOOMMMEEEEEE!!! –,)

  2. I saw Harry Potter last weekend too, but there wasn’t a Narnia trailer shown on it like I hoped. (I’m in the US)

  3. “when we storm the cinema to make Narnia #1 at the Box Office.”

I haven’t thought about that much, but I’d like that to happen. No more bickering about if the movie is going to be go or not. I didn’t like the third, fourth, and fifth Harry Potter movies but I saw them all, saw the sixth and I’m seeing the seventh. With Narnia, I’ll do the same. And I’ll expect to like it. I hope the trailer will be there.

  4. The trailer was shown at the Harry Potter movie here where I live. It looked good, really good on the giant screen.

  5. saw both harry potter and tangled (in the same day, no less 🙂 ) trailer was attatched to both movies. my mom’s just like “what the heck r peter and susan doin there?” i told no biggie

  6. Missouri, USA – I saw Harry Potter 7 last week and the VDT preview was amazing! i hadn’t seen a nice long trailer yet, so i was very excited! Going to see “Tangled” tomorrow. Can’t wait to see it again!

  7. tangled looks really cool and funny…i hope it does well but in australia it doesn’t release till january…something like that…awwww i won’t see the trailer on the big screen…at least i’ll watch it before i blink my eye..hehehe…my mother won’t take me to see harry potter so i hope yous enjoy the fun of seeing the trailer 🙂

  8. I saw Tangled in 3D today [which is very cute by the way :D] and so I saw the Voyage trailer. It was awesome seeing this trailer in theaters and in 3D. I was very satisfied and I much prefer this trailer than the original in theaters.

  9. Indeed I saw the trailer for The Chronicles of Narnia The Dawn Treader before the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at the cinema in Guatemala

  10. I just saw Tangled. It was fantastic! I loved seeing the VDT trailer in 3D. This is my first look at what the quality of the 3D conversion will be. Some shots seemed like they needed more work, but I think the film’s wonderful landscape shots will make great use of the depth (not to pop things in your face, but to pull them out and add to the depth). It is too early to judge the quality of the 3D. I hope that it has the same effect of drawing audiences in and immersing them into the movie that Nightmare Before Christmas, Bolt, Tangled, Toy Story 3, etc. did. Nightmare Before Christmas used post conversion, but I could never tell. When I saw that film I forgot I was watching a movie. This shows how effective 3D conversion can be, but the question is, did Fox put enough time and money into the conversion process. I have seen the film twice in 3D, but I am looking forward to “opening the other eye” and seeing the movie with added depth.

  11. do we get to see it clear or do we have to use those glasses that make things pop out of the screen?
