Dawn Treader Interview with Tilda Swinton

TrailerAddict has posted an interview with Tilda Swinton, who once again returns as the White Witch in the new film.  For anyone that is concerned that the character does not appear in the book, don’t worry.  It’s not what you think.

Anyway, here’s a bit of an interview with her that she conducted while on the set of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

  1. ohh that interview is sweet! I really like how the memory of her will always be there! even though that wasn’t really in the book, C.S could have easily been aiming for that!

  2. Totally makes sense if she appears when they are near the dark Island. In that scene of the book all of the crews worst nightmares strart to come true. And Lucy cries out for Aslan’s help.

  3. She said that the White Witch appeared to Edmund in Prince Caspian. But she forgot that it was really to Caspian, Peter, Edmund, the dwarfs, etc. It wasn’t just some personal “visit” sort of thing to Ed….

      • Yes, the scene by the Stone Table: Jadis appeared not to Edmund, but to Caspian, the werewolf, the Hag, and Nikabrik. Edmund did not see her until later on during the fight.
