5: Three Dawn Treader Clips from Fun for the Whole Family Hour
Thursday, August 19th, 2010 by Paul Martin
“The first clip is “The Adventure Begins.” In it, you’ll see Eustace has been writing in his Journal, which he promptly stuffs into his sock!
This second clip is called “Greedy Eustace.” In this, he falls into the area with the treasure. There’s not enough of it to tell if it’s all in a cave or if there’s a volcano nearby.

4: First Voyage of the Dawn Treader Footage Screened
Saturday, February 20th, 2010 by Paul Martin
“Prior to the footage screening, Michael Apted showed a reel of concept art, while explaining the art and the plot of the film. After a few discussions about what it took to even get Narnia onto the big screen, we were treated to the first 5 minutes of film that they’ve completed. It was a magnificent trailer, that I will not go into great detail on.
You’ll be pleased to learn, though, that it maintains the Narnia spirit of the first couple of films. In fact, it was so magical that I was almost drawn to tears from what I saw and heard. It appears that Liam Neeson has already recorded his lines as Aslan, and Michael Apted has confirmed that Reepicheep’s dialog has been recorded by Bill Nighy already last week. In the trailer we saw the entrance into Narnia, spent time at the Magician’s house, and many shots of Aslan’s Country at the end of the film. There was also a shot of Ben Barnes as King Caspian in what appeared to be a weighty piece of dialog. The trailer featured many lines spoken by Aslan all throughout. The music was taken from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe featuring the haunting vocals of Lisbeth Scott, as well as some original music later on, that I did not recognize but hope that it is also included in the film. It is unclear on how much music composer David Arnold has yet written for the project.
The trailer also featured a few moments between Lucy and Gael, some incredible shots of Lucy and the Magician, and the incredible work of Dante Spinotti as the cinematographer on the film. Each of the five islands in the film has a very distinct and unique appearance and most are based on actual locations in our world.”
3: Dawn Treader Movie Blog: “Falling in Love in Narnia”
Friday, February 12th, 2010 by Paul Martin
“As the cast and crew disembarked from the lifesize set for their daily lunch break, Paul and Courtney (who had no idea what was about to happen) climbed the 25-foot staircase and boarded the deck of the Dawn Treader. They scaled up one more deck to the wheelhouse (Lord Drinian’s command post for the vessel), where Paul fell to one knee, pulled out a sparkling (and expensive!) diamond ring, and asked Courtney to marry him.”
2: Voyage of the Dawn Treader Display Photos [Updated – High Res!]
Saturday, May 22nd, 2010 by Paul Martin
“There is an 8 foot tall display that will be in theaters soon, for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. It features many of the characters that appear on the big screen in the film, and a few that will leave people scratching their heads.
It is very similar to the huge banner that was on display at the Cannes film festival, but closer to what the actual poster will be. Not only that, but it’s our first real glimpse of some of the new characters.”
1: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader Trailer World Premiere
Thursday, June 17th, 2010 by Paul Martin
“Here it is, the world premiere of the trailer for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. It releases on December 10, 2010 and was directed by Michael Apted, who takes the reigns from previous Narnia film director Andrew Adamson. It stars Ben Barnes as Caspian, Skandar Keynes as Edmund Pevensie, Georgie Henley as Lucy Pevensie and Will Poulter as Eustace Clarence Scrubb. This is an excellent trailer that makes me very excited for the movie, and not just because I proposed on the set!

THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO FOR US! love, the narnians
YAY!
YAY! Didn’t the teaser trailer get almost 200 comments Paul?! I have a big question Paul, What if SC is never made, which is a BIG possibility, what will you do with this website? And I am saying it’s a big possibility because facing reality LWW made worldwide about $800 mil, PC made worldwide about $400 mil (and they thought that was too low), and VOTDT made worldwide about $200 mil! It hurts me to think this series which I have grown to love, is suffering so bad!
Oh, I hope they do make Silver Chair. It would be so disapointing if they didn’t. They really need to make all 7 books into movies.
I know! I always dreamed of that!
Well said; i agree!!!
