The Magician’s Nephew poster leaked online! (April Fools!)

Earlier today, we posted a story about the new partnership between the Narnia franchise and Apple Jacks cereal. Many of you noticed that the cereal box pictured in the post had a tiny image on it; yet none of us knew what the picture was of. But in the last hour, guess what happened?

Hold on to your flying horses, folks: a full-sized poster for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew has been leaked online!

You heard that right, the first poster for the The Magician’s Nephew movie is now available for public viewing! Hurry and save the image to your computer, as we may be forced to take it down soon due to copyright issues. Share it, along with this post, to all your friends on Google+, Facebook, Twitter, or even in real life ASAP!

First of all, I'm a Christian. Second, I love Narnia! I've been reading the books ever since I was little, and I've been following the Narnia fansites ever since the LWW movie came out. You might know me as The Bulgy Bear. I'm homeschooled, and I'm the oldest of five children.

  1. This isn’t a real poster. I could do a better job in a couple hours in Photoshop. Most of these images are from previous films.

  2. I’m sorry…but this is a cruel april fools joke! lol And that poster looks nothing like an official movie poster. Just a collage of pictures from past movies and other pictures.

  3. I always read the title of these articles and just hope really bad that I’ll click on it and it will turn out to be real!

  4. How I wish this was for real… Oh well, it’s a nice collage! (Does anybody know who those kids who are supposed to be Polly and Digory really are?)

    • The little girl is Caitlyn Blackwood, who played young Amelia Pond in series 5 and 6 of Doctor Who.

The little boy – I’m not 100% sure but he reminds me of a (much younger than now) Asa Butterfield in The Boy with the Striped Pajamas. Now he looks much older – he played Hugo in the same-titled film this last year.

    • Don’t know, it hasn’t even been confirmed yet. But Polly sure does look a lot like Pond.

      • Yup, “Polly” is definitely the girl who played young Amy Pond in Doctor Who. The actress’s name is Caitlin Blackwood. “Digory” looks familiar, but I don’t know who it is.

    • I think Asa Butterfield might be Digory in this. No idea about Polly though, but she reminds me of a girl I saw in a picture from a Doctor Who episode.

      • I think that Willow Shields would make an awesome Polly and Asa should be Digory.

  5. Ha! Happy April Fools!

P.S. Thank you NarniaFans.com for staying NARNIAN.
Narnia Web has changed to…”THE HOBBIT WEB.”
I’m looking forward to the HOBBIT movies but I’m sorry that Aslan’s Country and Narnia Web have changed their formats to be totally not Narnia.
I don’t mind Hobbit news as long as it is along with Narnia news or something. 😉

  6. Really? That’s just mean as an April Fools joke. You’d think you guys of all people wouldn’t taunt us with this. 🙁

  7. It took only a few seconds for me to figure out that it was an April Fool’s joke. Nice try.

  8. Haha. Happy april fools, guys! 😀 Thanks for getting a little goofy on us every year.

  9. I think the picture they just posted online for The Magician’s Nephew looks magnificent! It looks like something that should both be released when the movie is in theaters and for when The Magician’s Nephew becomes a DVD. The little boy reminds me of Edmund at a younger age and the little girl as Lucy. The white horse with wings looks beautiful as well.

  10. Does anyone know if there are plans for REAL for the making of “The Magician’s Nephew”? It’s my FAVORITE (alongside LWW & The Last Battle)of all the books! I’m DYING to see them make it into a movie! As a teacher, I did read-alouds of LW & W and TMN and they were ALWAYS a hit with my kids – and ME! Please let me know if you hear of plans for this movie coming out!

  11. I agree with Jimmy, this is easily done by a fan in a couple of hours in photoshop. How do I know? I work in the business and this is crying out as a fan made poster. For starters the Narnia logo is not as sharp as it should be if it was to be made by the pros at Walden Media, and there is some blending issues with the other images fading into Aslan. But hats off to the person who made it, you fooled a lot of people. ‘Twas a nice idea. But ya can’t fool me lol XD

  12. That was great! I had a surge of happiness for a fleeting moment , at least! And great job on the poster, i made a copy and it will be my homepage on my smartphone.i can dream about what could have been- or someday may be!

    • Yeah I agree but give the guy a break it is only an april fools day prank, I wouldn’t expect anyone to spend more than an hour (if that) on it, and if it did look truly professional I think all friends of narnia would have a collective heart-attack…

Though I must say I just watched through the 5th series of DW and that little girl would be a great choice for polly!

      • She’s a good actress, but I personally don’t like her that much. I hope they find some one better for Polly. She’s one of the BEST Narnia characters!

  13. And looky there good ol’ tilda elbows her way into yet another mov… what’s that? she’s actually IN the story!??? NO WAY!

(And happy belated april fools everyone!)

  14. This is fake. Fake fake fake.
The top picture of the girl is from Doctor Who. She plays Amelia Pond as a child. No clue how you thought it was real tbh.

  15. That’s Amelia Pond as a little kid. O_O HAha, nice April Fool’s joke! Although, it really got my hopes up. 🙁

  16. After seeing the Hunger Games, I think Willow Shields would make a PERFECT Polly! I wonder what the real movie poster will look like…

    • Please don’t give fans such false hopes with useless nonsense. I have been dying to have this movie made and only want to hear about the real thing!

  17. lol Apple Jacks. That’s hilarious! People you really need to read the story before looking at the fanmade poster. xD

  18. ITS ALL FAKE.I DONT BELIEVE THIS. IF I AM NOT WRONG THE PROFESSER IS IN THE VOYAGE OF THE DOWN TREADER.
