The first trailer will be released in theatres in April with a global marketing and publicity campaign building towards the December 9 launch. The world premiere will take place at the Royal Albert Hall [link] on December 7, with parts of the adjacent Hyde Park transformed into a “winter wonderland” scene for the premiere.

Inspired by the forthcoming Walden Media/ Disney Film of the classic Narnia story The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, this conference celebrates C. S. Lewis’ contribution to literature, theology, apologetics, scholarship, popular culture, myth, and imagination.

Though remaining focused on big-budget action films, several big studios are turning to Walden Media to capture some of the family-film market.

With the building expectation for the feature-film of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, BBC Audio Books have recently reissued Brian Sibley’s classic radio dramatization of CS Lewis’ entire Chronicles of Narnia (from The Magician’s Nephew to The Last Battle) in a limited edition.

Walden, a relative newcomer to the movie industry, envisages another business opportunity in Narnia: educational publishing, school workshops and teacher training.
