Ralph Winter Prods. is producing a bigscreen adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel “The Screwtape Letters” with Philip Anschutz’s Walden Media.

Every Christian (except for those pharisaic types who call all fantasies uniformly demonic) is willing to recognize Aslan at least as embodying the personality traits of Jesus; but in spite of such powerful narrative clues as Aslan taking the form of a LAMB in addition to that of a lion, many balk at agreeing that Mr. Lewis meant Aslan unequivocally to BE Jesus, the same Jesus Who is found in the New Testament.

Lewis for which he served as General Editor, is in press, and will be published in hardback in late April by Praeger Perspectives. Amazon and Barnes and Noble already have it listed!

Kelly Kyle, the owner of a bookshop named “Narnia Children’s Books” is facing a lawsuit for having the word “Narnia” in their store name, according to TimesDispatch.com. This comes as a surprise because the store opened in 1984, and they have not received any prior requests to change the name.
