Prince Caspian Casting Continues

Our Narnia spies have told us that only two of the boys that auditioned in the first round have been called up for the second round. Reportedly, director Andrew Adamson and the producers are in the UK, auditioning actors that are Hispanic in appearance and in their late teens. This would fit the story a bit more, and give Caspian a distinct feel.

The Right and Left Paws of Aslan

The idea of a “left wing” and “right wing” in politics and society is a fluid one, subject to a lot of confusion. You can’t understand liberals unless you know what they want to liberate, and you can’t understand conservatives unless you know what they want to conserve….It may help us toward clarity if I attempt, presupposing what I think to be reasonable modern definitions of the left and right, to identify some places in The Chronicles Of Narnia where C.S. Lewis expressed sometimes liberal ideas, and sometimes conservative ones.

William Moseley talks Narnia, Prince Caspian

A sequel, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, is in the works, but its producers are keeping details under wraps. “We’re going to shoot in January, and that’s going ahead,” Moseley says, and shooting is slated to continue through the summer. “I haven’t seen a completed script yet,” he says. “They’re keeping it really hush-hush. Whether it’s even finished, I don’t know.”
