Joking that he’s committed himself to the “Chronicles of Narnia” films for the rest of his life, director Andrew Adamson has revealed plans to adapt all seven books of the classic C.S. Lewis series.

The family of CS Lewis will miss out on the lion’s share of the multi-million-pound royalties from films based on his Chronicles of Narnia.

The young stars of the eagerly awaited Christmas blockbuster The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe are already getting ready for further adventures in Narnia. William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes and Georgie Henley – who play the siblings Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy in C.S. Lewis’s mammoth fantasy tale – are on stand-by to be in the film Prince Caspian, one of the seven books in Lewis’s Chronicles Of Narnia series.

Geoffrey Burgon for gave Narniaweb the opportunity to ask him some questions about his Narnia scores. Burgon wrote the music for the BBC productions of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian/The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and The Silver Chair.

Silva Screen Records has announced the release dates of “The Chronicles of Narnia: Music from the BBC Television Series” by composer Geoffrey Burgon. It is released in the UK and other territories on October 10th, and in the US on November 8th. **SPOILERS**

On November 8th, Geoffrey Burgon’s score for the BBC’s Chronicles of Narnia series will be released by Silva America.

This month, in addition to a rather tongue-in-cheek story synopsis that Jenn and I intend as a nod to the story structure of Prince Caspian itself, George Rosok offers up a critique of the novel against the very standards which Lewis himself set for the genre of “children’s stories.” Also, Kathy Bledsoe takes a look at the spiritual significance of yet another (seemingly) warped aspect of the story: Aslan’s “holiday” with Bacchus and the boys—and girls!
