Ask a Telmarine!

How wonderful are Telmarines?

Miraz was a pussy cat compared to Jadis the White Witch! She was totally evil, would you not agree?

I'm sorry, I don't remember her. Was she Narnian?

How, precisely, are you defining evil? Given that your ethics (according to Toodles) have a tendency to, shall we say, dip and swerve in interesting directions....

...making me an antihero. But Miraz was a classic villain, evil to the core.

Full disclosure -- I had to look that up... and no. He does not. Though he does often make one feel like cursing him.

It's also an obscure Anne of Green Gables reference, that's why I remember it.

Do Telmarines often have big families?

Surely you must have heard about the Great Winter? It lasted 100 years, was caused by Jadis's dark magic and she ruled Narnia as Queen for 100 years. She claimed to be human, but this is strongly disputed by many Narnians. She didn't originate in the Narnian world, but was accidentally brought there by a young lad on the very day Narnia was created by Aslan. Indeed, it was Aslan Himself who finally defeated and killed the White Witch as she was known by most Narnians.

If she'd met Miraz, she'd have turned him and his armies to stone, as she did to all who opposed her.

Fairly large, I guess. Personally, I'm aiming for two kids if I ever get married. Which is weird 'cause I have eight names picked out...

The Telmarines who educated me weren't really very big on the whole history thing. Which is a shame, really. That sounds like a story worth reading.

Do Telmarines write epic poetry? If so, what about?

Nope. There's no point, since that Milton dude wrote the epic to end all epics.

Since the Telmarines can't satirize the Narnians--that would mean admitting that they exist--who do you generally satirize? (If it's Miraz, maybe it wasn't only your bad taste in songs that put you on his bad side....)

We satirize pop culture. And Brian Williams.
