Things finally slowed down so I could get back to my Dr Who on kindle, and I just started the 4th season the other day -- but I did get through the Adipose episode. Those fat things were adorable!!! (And what a great gift for you BK.)

What was Rose doing there?!
Don't tell me. :)

I was happy Catherine Tate was back; I like her, as an actress. Right now I am in the middle of The Sinatra Stratagem. I know that's not right! but I can't remember the name of the aliens. Now Martha is back! :)

OK, the Sinatra one, it was a 2-part one, and it was really good. I especially liked that the Dr gave the Santorans a choice, was willing to sacrifice himself to give them the choice, and then that the Rattigan boy sacrificed himself to try to atone for what he'd done. That was really a good ending. But now, at the end of this one, Martha has been sucked into the next episode, "The Doctor's Daughter" with them! I hope this doesn't ruin her engagement! I want her to be happy ...

Sinatra, lol! Check again Inky!! You're funny!:D

I know I couldn't spell it right! :)

**Spoilers**

The Doctor's Daughter was very interesting! I love learning more about the Dr's past; I remember he had said before that he had been a father ... The only thing is, did they never do anything with Jenny's character? She doesn't meet up with the Dr again or get her own show? I was so surprised when she just sort of went off into the sunset.

Jenny doesn't come back, we don't know what happens to her. But the Doctor actually having children is not related to this episode. The Doctors very fist compainion in ClassisWho is his granddaughter. So he must hold had children before the show.

His grand-daughter? But does she die at the end of classic Who? How else would he be the only time lord left? that is interesting.

no, he mentions, i think to rose or martha, in one episode that he has been a father, before. i remembered that from a previous episode, before the doctor's daughter. i just assumed his whole family had died out with the rest of the time lords.

Yes, she died. Her and the rest of his family. He has been a father, but his family did die in the Time War. I was saying he was a father at on point. But his family is not relivent to Jenny.

Oh, so in classic Who, the war has not yest destroyed all the time lords? Is the war and the death of the race part of classic Who? That would be so sad!

I am watching the one with Agatha Christie now, what a riot.

I didn't get to the end yet, but when I left off, the killer had been revealed. It's so cute how they made it like an Agatha Christie mystery, and then how the Doctor figures out why things are unfolding that way.

Oh yeah, there were tons of time lords. I think there was a few episodes on Gallifrey.

The unicorn and the wasp is not my favorite episode, I thought the bee was a bit much.

No, Susan did NOT die on screen or at the end of the classical Who series. The First Doctor left her behind with a human david she felt in love with. She made a comeback later. The Ninth Doctor stated his whole family died in Father's day. So we assume they died during the timewar but it's not certain yet. Jenny is not his biological daughter so she has no connection with his biological family. Unless the writers are going to tie the ends together.

Right now I'm in the classical Doctor Who mood. I'm half way the fourth season of the famous Tom Baker and it's hilarious!! I can see why many whovians like the classical Who better. I also enjoyed the first half of the Seventh Season. I'm not going to give away spoilers because some people here like Jaxy are still watching

Thanks Nessa! :)

So if the grand-daughter is left behind with a human she loves, is it for certain she died in the war with all the other time lords? Seems funny the modern Doctor wouldn't know where and how she is and want to be with her ...

OK, I just finished "Silence in the Library" last night, and the second half of it, I forget the title. It was brilliant! Dr. Moon, and CAL, Proper David and Other David, "Donna Noble has been saved" ... It was all really well done. I loved it.

But I am wondering, who was that woman, River Song, and how did she know the Doctor's name? Don't tell me! :) And I still don't know why and how Rose appeared in that earlier Season 4 episode! But ... don't tell me ...

I am loving Dr Who, but I feel so far behind! Still, I want to watch through them in order, so I will soldier on.

Inky I can only give away one thing: River Song is returning in the future. That's all I can say ;)
The thing about Susan is that she never died in the show. We only know or assume she died because of the Doctor (Ninth) telling Rose his whole family died. But there is no story written about it. So technically the writers could add Susan back if they want to. I always wondered why the Doctor never looked back at his granddaughter. Maybe he did visit her a couple of times when he was travelling alone but still I wish they would shine some light upon it. That would make a great storyline.

Silence in the Library double episode is one of the best ever. And I love Donna so much. You're very close to one of my other fav episode Turn left but you'll see that one ;)

I know, I really enjoyed the library episodes! And I love Donna; that actress is brilliant, and her character is just what the Doctor needs. Can't wait to get to another of your favorites! Wonder what it will be?

Nice to see you here, darling! :)

Where is the like button? :p

I'm so crazy about Dr Who I had to reply :D And I'm so happy you enjoy it so much hun! I remember when I gave it a try. I started with Ecclestone and I had finished the whole series in 3 or 4 weeks. I kept on watching. Donna is my favorite because she is feisty but she is also a very great companion and not in love with the Doctor. And she is maybe one of the best companions ever! Catherine Tate did a marvellous job. I already liked her in Runaway Bride. What's your fav episode so far? I have quite a few. I'm not going to ruin it for you and give away spoilers ;) You're moving fast so you're going to see some great episodes pretty soon!

I would have to look back over the 3 season I've already completed to come up with a favorite. I was so fond of Eccleston, I couldn't think that there could be another doctor with the same charm -- but then Tenant has blown me away, and now it's hard to think back to the Eccleston episode.

I really loved the 2-part library one that I just watched.

I also liked the ones with Queen Victoria, Charles Dickens and Shakespeare!

The one called "Blink" was also very good -- plus the Empty Child and The Doctor Dances.

And these are just from the first few seasons!

You actually liked The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances? Those two creeped me out! Sure, I really liked the ending, but until I knew what was wrong with them, it was soooo creepy! Then again, maybe the time of day I watched the first one contributed to my feelings on it. I watched The Empty Child right before I was supposed to be asleep, so... Yeah. Walking through the dark, imagining that I can hear the "Muuuuuuuummy!" That was creepy.
