Danoeil watched Alex ride off furiously. "I'm sorry..." she whispered, though she knew he couldn't hear her. She mounted Telowen and rode off in the oppisite direction, not wanting to torture his life with herself anymore.
 
After a few minutes Alex heard that the gallops were just a few, and for what supossed to be, four horses, they should be more. He stopped slowly, glancing back. He had expected her to follow him but she wasnt there. Now...what could you be thinking in going another direction?... He asked himself although that question was for Danoeil. Vaan made noises...'shhhh' Alex hissed. He was still staring back when Vaan contiued by himself, Alex tryed to stop him until he noticed that near were some fresh grass...Vaan was just hungry.

Danoeil continued riding. She didn't know where she was going, but she figured it'd be better to keep going, wherever it took her.
 
Before Alex could notice, he was on the next town. A quiet and warm place that if it wasnt for the bars, was completely silent. Alexander was way too confused to think in anything now, he managed to find an Inn and payed some money for a room, the horses stayed on the stable near, and soon enough Alex was opening the door for his room. He gave two steps inside...A bed for two...huh? He muttered under his breath...he continued glancing around...A little, but nice fire place...and a table. Alex put his things down and walked turds the window at the bed's left. He opened them and he could see the forest from there. "God darn it where are u?.." He couldnt help in feeling worried. He slammed the window doors and walked to the fire place turning it on. He turned around, and fell in the bed.

Eventually Danoeil decided to go find Alex. She urged Telowen to ride faster, just for the satisfaction of the wind. She made it to the next town and checked all the inns for Alex, so she could apoligize, and then leave for good.
 
"Ah, gosh...I cant sleep like this.." Alex growled and stormed away from the room, the inn, and arrived at a near by bar. He walked in and sat down...

"What can I get for you?.." a girl, not older than 17, asked him with a sassy and sweet voice. Alex did not look at her, the way she dressed brough back memories not wanted at the moment..."A beer.." he said that the girl didnt hear him.."Excuse me, sir?.." She asked again.."A...beer, sorry.." he repeated louder. A while later, he had already drank four, and was watching other people around the bar, while he tryed to get her, Danoiel, outta his mind.
"But, look whos here..." A familiar voice spoke at his back. Alex freezed...Impossible......The man put a hand of Alexander's shoulder..."I thought you were dead, or something, you little..." the man spoke..."Is that you, Instructer?.." Alex asked turning around slowly...Yeah, indeed, he was the knights, intructer..."What a coincidence...Alex, you ran away from your duty and left your kingdom alone.." The instructer began and sat down in the same table Alex was..."Probably, you ignore this, but now, more than ever, we need knights, the kingdom its starting to struggle a war.." Alex cotinued watching the old but strong man in front of him..."You quitted, and you should be punished for that, but if you come back, since we need more young men, in order to help the kingdom, they wont notice..." Alex gulped..."And, what are you doing here?.." He asked..."Im gathering any volunteer, its said that here in this town are a lot, thats why I came..." He told Alex, taking a sip of his own beer...."And, Alexander...why did you left?.." he asked curiously..."I..." Alex began, he didnt know what to say.
 
Danoeil arrived at THE inn. "Hello, is an Alexander staying here?" she asked the inn keeper. "Yes he is..." the lady pointed to him sitting at the table. Danoeil saw Alex was with the instructor. She took a deep breath and walked into the bar area and walked straight past them to the bar. She put in her order too. She'd have to drink to stay unnoticed for long...
 
Alex did see her..."Probably I should return..." He told the instructor.."But I have to do something first.." He stood up. "What? where are you going?.." The instructor asked..."Just a minute.." he turned and followed right after her, pushing her slightly to a lot of people to stay out of the instructer's sight...He looked at her, but then away, trying to hide his feelings again..."Im glad you're ok.." he told her shaprly, whispering at her ear..."I dont think this its the best place to tell you the things I have to, so please, meet me at the Inn's stable in two hours, I'll be there.." he turned away, and like nothing just happened, he sat back in the table, his fist were so strongly clinching that they were red. "Im going back with you, instructer."

Danoeil sighed, she could hear the anger in his voice and it almost made her cry. She gluped down the whole beer in a few gulps and left the room, heading to the stables to wait.
 
He watched her go with a sad look accross his face, yeah, it was best. She needed a new life starting again, leaving the past behind. And he was part of it. "Thank you Alexander Elric.." The instructor called him by his full name..."I have currently, ten volunteers, with you, are eleven, we can leave by tomorrow morning.." He grinned with another sip of the beer...So did Alex and smiled, weakly..."Im very sorry I left the kingdom like that, he reasons for why i did that.." he stopped staring at the table.."You know kid, I've always acted around you knights all the tough and everything, but I can tell you ran away, WITH, someone, a girl, probably you were in love, or you ar-" Alex interrupted him.."However, Im going back, definetly.." He drank the rest of the beer.

Danoeil paced, but she knew what was happening, she could feel it, but she'd wait for him to tell her himself. She waited and waited, patting Telowen's neck and pacing. She finally sat down next to Telowen's stall and focused on breathing.
 
"Ok, Alexander. Meet me in the town entrance tomorrow morning, we'll leave early." Alex nooded..."Yes, I better get going now.." He put the money for the beers on the table, and the instructer nooded walking away. Alex stood at a corner just before the stables. Ran a hand through his hair, closed his eyes, and breathed slowly. He opened them and with determination he decided he wouldnt let feelings take over him now, now that he understood how things should get going, he knew he loved her more than ever, but with the 'knights' thing and the kingdom, he could hide it just enough. He stepped in she was next to teloween, who was next to Vaan.
He sighed once again, the moonlight reflected on his face..."Danoeil, Now I've come here to tell you, that..." He stopped and breathed...
"That, I will leave by tomorrow morning and return to the kingdom, you can keep the other two horses, blankes and everything. All I need is Vaan, my clothes and just a few money.." He began to talk non-stop..."Im sorry..." he managed to whisper..."Maybe, we'll meet again..." He turned and walked away, fast.

"Alex!" she exclaimed, grabbing his arm. "I'm sorry, but I know that doesn't mean a thing..." she sighed. "I love you with all my heart, you should know that, but that's not enough, I know now." She kissed him quickly. "Goodbye." and then she let go of his arm.
 
He shrugged and a tear slid down his cheek...he pulled her again and kissed her more passionately as he never did, leaving all his love in that kiss, or so he tryed. "I love you too, with my life, everything.." He whispered..."Please, dont look for me, and so I will not look for you...this was a mistake since the start, this cursed love..." He whispered, crying out. "I love you, and i wont ever forget you.." he whispered and let go. Running away.

As he kissed her, tears started to slide from her eyes. She held him there, enjoying his embrace. "I would rather kill myself than not look for you..." she whispered. "I would rather die than not be with you..." she whispered before he let her go. As she watched him go she stared back at the barn. "He forgot to give my heart back..." she said to herself.
 
As Alex ran away, he tripped and fell to his knees, it was long since the last time he cryed that way, sobbing quietly. He stood up and rubbed his eyes and cleaned his throat. He went to the Inn, and bought something to the keeper that was for sleeping, he drank it, and sobbed quietly in the bed before he could sleep under the effects of the medicine.

Danoeil went in the back way of the inn. She blended in with the servents. She took her knife and made her way to a room, that she locked herself in. Luckily, it was a man's room, and he wasn't in the room. She quickly took some clothes, luckily slightly baggy. She wrapped herself to make her look more like a man. She put on the baggy shirt and the trousers and shoes. She took her knife and put it to the nape of her neck, slowly digging in. Her hair fell to the ground, all of her gorgeous hair until it was very short. She could hardly recognize herself. She knew what she had to do now. Slowly, she cut her face with the knife, just below her eye, it would make her look less like her. The red blood dripped down her face as she washed it off. She quickly went out of the room and left the inn. She wandered the streets and went into a clothing shop. "Ma'am..." she said. "Do you by chance have any bleach?" she asked. The lady nodded. Danoeil bought it and went out to a horse drinking area, where she bleached her hair. This reminded her of when she really was a knight, and had to hide from everyone. She returned to the barn- blonde and a man. She attached her dagger to her waist and her sword. She had no sheild, but she would have to make due. She slowly walked over to Telowen. "Darling...I'm sorry..." and with that she slowly cut the rear of Telowen with her knife. Telowen whinnyed in protest. "I'm sorry, but you can't be recognizable..." she whispered and kissed Telowen's forehead. "Now we must hide out back..." and off she and telowen walked.
 
The next day, Alex was already laying his back agaisnt a tree as he waited for the instructer..."Whoa! Kid! you really got up early!!.." he chuclked, but Alex response was non-expressionless, he mounted Vaan, and the instructer and other knights catched up.

Its not like Alex didnt change himself. Not physically, at all, he really changed inside. He had such a tough expression that seemed to make him look much older, he was only 22. His hair was longer and if he let it, it could hide his eyes, so he did so as he traveled with the others.

ic: Suddenly, a small, delicate looking man rode up beside the instructor. "Where are we off to?" He asked in a gruff voice. His hair was bleach blonde- not abnormal, and he had a scar running down from his eye.
 
Alex was a bit separated from the group and didnt say anything. Completely emotionless and with his hair covering his eyes, he definetly looked weird and tougher. He heard a familiar voice..."Where are we off to?.." Alex gasped...No way... He glanced back, finally pulling the hair slightly away, and looking at what seemed to him, a boy, really a kid. He did not recognize her, the hair was blonde and that scar, bah!...Probably it was Alex's imagination, He shrugged and rushed a little more...

"To the Kingdom of Teynard, kid.." The instructer replied..."What's your name, kid..I dont remember asking you to join.." He frowned. He then suddenly noticed how Alex was taking distance..."Hey!! Im your captain again Alexander!!.." He yelled.
"Now, kid, tell me.." The instructor asked again, looking back at the blonde little boy.

Alex shrugged and slowled down, growling.
