"alright on my way. I'll see ya" He clicked off, and jogged off in the direction of her house.

"Bye," she said, and then quickly got everything in order in her room. She checked herself in the mirror. Sweats and a t-shirt. Saturday clothes. Whatever, she thought, and then made her way downstairs to get the dishes into the dishwasher.

He hurried over. He hated losing time on hanging out with her. HE soon showed up at her house, and knocked on the door.

Where the tables were clustered for the church group, the African-American lady Shavonda was reviewing their planned contributions of service to the picnic on Monday.

"We have two facepainters lined up. Three kids will do a puppet theater. We could use three more hugger-coaches for the special-needs hundred-yard run. The Moonwalk is taken care of. Jason Katon will be providing something new: drawing anime characters to order..."

Alipang was half-listening, and ALL watching Kim Tisdale move here and there serving the several customers who were NOT part of this gathering. It kept echoing in Alipang's mind: She didn't say anything _against_ my obvious meaning when I said what I said about a "hypothetical" boy wanting her and being patient enough to show her his good points over time....

He did have enough non-Kim-Tisdale cells left in his brain to notice, and be glad, when his buddy Jason came into the restaurant at last.

Just as Jen finished getting everything ready, she heard the knock, and went to the door. Her face lit up when she saw Brendan. "Hey," she said, holding the door for him.

this is written so you can get to know Erin a bit better:cool:

Erin checked on Sky then gave her hamster, Huey, her new exercise wheel. Huey sniffed at the wheel for a moment then got on and started running with a vigor. Erin laughed at the hamster's enthusiasm. she then went outside to feed her three dogs, then went back inside to check on her mom. "hey Mom," she stuck her head in the door." how's that book going?" "Its going good, honey!" Mrs. Conrad looked tired as she smiled and looked up from her work, " I'm on a roll right now, but I can pause. Is there anything I need to do for you?" "No, Mom, everything's fine at the moment," Erin grinned, " just popping in to say hi, but I gotta go to work in a few minutes, so I'll see ya later?" "Ok, kiddo, I'll be here!" Erin's mom went back to her work.

Erin quickly put her light-brown hair into a ponytail on her way to her truck. She thought about Alipang and his injuries. She knew about all the gang activity going on and she had heard about his bit of action, but with everything going on in her own life, she hadn't paid much attention to school. Her parents had been in a tragic car accident, killing her father and putting her mom into a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Mrs. Conrad was still mourning over her beloved husband, submerging herself into her work, which was writing mysteries. Erin was trying to stay afloat in the chaos of life, avoiding depression by taking excessive care of her animals. As Erin drove to the veterinary hospital, she wondered if life would ever be normal again.

"Thanks." He laughed. "Uh so whatcha wanna do?"

"We have every sports channel known to mankind due to my brother and father's obsession with sports... we have some movies, uhh... and then a Wii downstairs..." Jen said. "Do you want a drink or something?"

"Sure I'll take something to drink. Anythings fine, thanks"

"just plain, is good. Thanks" He took it, and asked, "Alright if I sit down on the couch?"

"You don't have to ask," she laughed and poured her Coke into a glass and put in a few ice cubes. "So. TV or a movie? Or what do you want to do?"

OOC to N-Fan: Let just a little more game-time pass, and you can say that Grant visits you.

Apologizing again to Confessor; you can if you want make up later events that will STILL drag Jason down.

Jason took some part in discussion; but even with his mind on Kim, Alipang could tell that Jason wasn't all here. He was often looking at the door and windows. At one point, Jason flinched....and at that instant, it was plain that a car outside, in Jason's line of sight, had a driver who was looking IN AT JASON.

Impulse, instinct, propelled Alipang out the door into the parking lot. Remembering Brendan's use of his phone-camera on the Jakekers' license plate, he brought his own phone-camera to bear as the nasty-looking man peeled out of the strip mall.

Got it. He must transmit this at once to Mr. Kramer's phone, to enable another license-number check...which would reveal whom Jason was worried about.

"You don't have to ask," she laughed and poured her Coke into a glass and put in a few ice cubes. "So. TV or a movie? Or what do you want to do?"

"Well I was just making sure. I'll let you decide, as I decided the movie last time" He laughed.
