She put her head in his arm " I'm glad you my brother I don't know what I do with out you Al," she told him, put her arm around him " Don't leave right now Al," she told him.

So Alipang found himself sitting down with Chilena on her bed as countless times before, holding her close as countless times before, and tenderly kissing her as countless times before. They stayed that way until Alipang had to go investigate Harmony crying about something; and not long after this, their parents came home with the report that Kathleen Jakekens had been accepted for work at the nursing home, but had pulled out.

{ "The rest of the day" isn't much; we already had supper and then did homework. }

After being told by Alipang about Kathleen's call, Cecilia Havens came into her daughter's room. "Darling, are you going to be all right? You don't even have to _think_ about those people anymore if you don't want to; but if in spite of everything you still want to talk to them sometime, I promise you that your father and I _won't_ feel betrayed. We love you, dear, ever so very much."

" Oh, Mum I wish this never happen," she told her, whapping her tears from her eyes " When I met them I realize I all ready had a family who loved me I was so dumb to see that I'm sorry mum," she told her.

Now it was Mom's turn to sit cuddling and kissing Chilena. "No, honey, you didn't forget us in any way. It's natural for someone in your position to wish to reconnect with the missing part of your life. We were not hurt or disrespected or anything bad by you doing something natural."

After Mom had comforted Chilena in this way for awhile, Dad came in and did the same thing. Then came the topper: Melody and Harmony entered Chilena's room, clasping each other by the hand. "You're not going to move away, are you, Chil-Chil?" asked seven-ish Melody, almost in tears.

" What are you crazy I'm not going any were," she told her, rubbing her tiny nose " I'm staying right here Mel," she told her.

The very last person to come in before Chilena began changing clothes to go to bed was Alipang again.

"Are you okay now, sweets?"

"Then we can go to church tomorrow and thank God for enabling you to get through today. AND we can thank God that this ISN'T 'dirty';" and he gave her one more swift triple kiss before saying goodnight.

After a squishy squeeze and one more goodnight kiss, both siblings went to bed; but soon....

Deadeye Alipang, Western gunslinger, was moseying along the trail with his trail-buddy Badlands Brendan. Their horses, though able to move as living things, were merry-go-round horses, exactly like those on the very first merry-go-round Alipang had ever ridden in reality. (That had been very soon after his arrival in the States, and Chilena had ridden with him to make sure he was okay.)

Ahead of the two gunslingers appeared a boxing ring, in the middle of nowhere with nothing around it. IN the boxing ring, wearing, ahem, attractive costumes, were Kim and Jennifer. They were not fighting, but looked very close to it, as they shouted at each other:

"I'm the star of this movie! I deserve to get the leading man!"

"No, you're not and you don't! I am and I do!" --and so on.

Alipang and Brendan cantered up to ringside. Brendan called out, "Wait, ladies! You can EACH get your own hero; here we are!" Jennifer immediately leaped right out of the boxing ring and into Brendan's arms.

Alipang looked expectantly at Kim, but she stayed put, saying, "What do I want with LITTLE BOYS?"

Before Alipang could reply to this, they were attacked by a gang of outlaws who looked like the Biology teacher who scorned homeschoolers. Kim suddenly produced from somewhere a huge 30mm chaingun--but Alipang took it away from her, saying, "Oh no you don't! It's bad enough that you refuse to be in love with me even in a dream; you DON'T get to have a bigger gun than I have besides!"

Then he mowed down the majority of the outlaws, though leaving seven or eight of them for Brendan.

The next day Chilena slide down the stairs case " Hm," she said, walking to the kitchen to make her family pancakes " I need blue berries," she told herself, looking for some.

Alipang was slow to get up. Somehow, during his imaginary gunfight, he had ended up in a position with his cracked rib resting on top of his own closed left fist; when he woke up, he was in considerable pain. He had been spacing his doses of hydrocodone far apart, because he didn't want to come within a million miles of becoming addicted; but he was definitely going to need the pain medication this morning.

"WOULD YOU HURRY UP!" Called Elizabeth to her daughters.

All four girls were frantically busy with their hair, make up, or talking to Susan's boyfrined Jake.

"We're going to be LATE!" Called Elzabeth again.

The girls tried straiting their hair with only one straightner (it was a surprise that they didn't murder eachother...yet)

"WE'll BE there in just a ---- MINUTE!!!!" Sharon yelled down the stairs.

Ten minutes later the girls were heading out the front door and into their mother's car.
