" Yeah, blue berry," she told him " All right I just want to see if you where a wake or not I'll met you down stairs," she told him, sliding down the stair case once more.

"Suri wake up!!!" said Aunt Julli to Suri "we're going to be late", Suri woke up and replied "Ok, comming", she went downstairs to took her breakfast, "It smell delicious" said Suri to her cousin that had stood there the night but have to go back to the university that day "thanks" he said to her "I didn't knew you can cook" said Suri to Evan

"Mom seriously do we have to listen to the hippie stuff?" Sharon asked as they drove.

"My car my rules," was all Elizabeth said.

The three girls in the back moaned and began to start a conversation to tune out America's "Horse with no name". All the while Kim was off in her own little world looking out the passenger window and listening to Tori Amos' "Black Dove." Grant it probably wasn't the right song to listen to on the way to church, but it did take her far away from reality. It was the sweetest escape.

OOC to A-Y: Remember that I once said you could, if you chose, invent a Baptist church that Suri goes to. But if you prefer to attend Redemption Free Church, Pastor Tom Stetzer welcomes you!

Further to AravisYanes

It can of course be a Spanish-speaking Baptist church if you like; we have those in the USA. If it matters, I have imagined the majority of local Hispanics living on the west side of town, where West High is. If you do go to a Hispanic Baptist church, you could meet Tomas Costamesa, the police chief of Smoky Lake.

Chilena was in the park sitting by the pound holding her legs

Mike who didn't follow his parnts home came sitting next to her " Hey there," he told her, with a smile.

Summer woke and lay in bed thinking. She glanced at the clock and shot out of bed. She was going to be late for church if she didn't hurry. Pulling on a nicer pair of pants and a t-shirt that wasn't over sized she ran downstairs and grabbed an apple.

OOC: Josh. If you want we can continue what happened at Summer's house yesterday or we can just say it happened and not worry about it.

OOC: Ok the church's name is "Iglesia Bautista Vida Nueva"

IC: Everyone in Suri's house got ready and started their way to the church

Kim and her family arrived at church and walked in.

Mrs. Tisdale, however, was detained outside the door by Rafael and Carmen Imada, who wanted to speak only to her. After some good words for Kim's performance as a waitress, which would enable Elizabeth to say truthfully that the Imadas had spoken to her, the one who _really_ wanted to speak to Mrs. Tisdale emerged from hiding. The Imadas withdrew out of hearing--but to preserve Mrs. Tisdale's alibi (if she even chose to use it), they did not go inside immediately.

"Mrs. Tisdale," said Alipang, "I apologize for the sneakiness. I didn't want Kim to know I was talking to you--at least, not to know it AT the time I'm doing it. I'm terribly inexperienced in some areas of dealing with people; but I'm _very_ experienced in speaking the truth. For what it's worth, what I'm going to tell you is both true, and intended only for good.

"First of all, in case you haven't already been told, Mr. Imada, and our customers, are hugely pleased with Kim's quality as a waitress. She can think of herself as absolutely _deserving_ to have that job. At the same time, though, it is a fact that she _has_ the job because of me. I was the first one even to have the idea of her applying at the Pansit. Because she knows that I know that she knows that I made it possible, I'm worried that she will _think_ I expect gratitude...and I don't want her to feel as if I would, um, as if I'd expect any....

"I'm cutting my own throat by telling you this, ma'am, but it wouldn't be fair to Kim to let her suffer any needless discomfort that I could prevent. So I'm telling you that...that the reason _why_ this issue is important to me....is because I'm....well, 'in love' is too much to say after only one week, but I'm crazy about Kim. I never met anyone quite like her. I don't expect you to approve of that, with our age difference, but I'm telling you the truth. And I won't bother her about it, not at work or anyplace. It isn't her fault that a kid....that I...Please, just accept my word, Mrs. Tisdale, that I don't expect _anything_ in return for anything I ever did for her. And if you do tell her what I said, she doesn't need to make the standard speech to me about how much better it is to be only friends. I have a downright _harem_ of only-friends female friends."

" H-Hi mike what are you doing here?," she asked, getting up.

" I wanted to stay here I mean is that all right I know I haven't been there for you like your foster brother, but I was to try if you let me," he told her, looking down at his feet.

Chilena rolled her eyes " Sure what ever first starter I want to know you better but right now I need to go to church," she told him, with a weak smile" And I know you didn't mean to stay out of my life, but you did," she told him, walking to her car.

(ooc lol sorry:o I have to go bbl ;))

OOC:

AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGHHHHH!!!

That was _why_ I was trying to get you to post sooner, before the latest vanishing time came!

Let's see, how about this as a hypothetical response:

Mrs. Tisdale grinned at Alipang and said, "I happen to know that Kim would rather be eaten alive by army ants than be around you.....but * I * think you're hot! Let's you and me go dancing tonight!" ;)

Since God knows when Dayhawk will be back, and since she told me she was okay with this dialogue happening, and since Mrs. Tisdale is not her main character, I'm going to put just a few words into Mrs. Tisdale's mouth, just enough to let poor Alipang get inside the church before the service is over.

==============================

"Do you mean to say," Kim's mother asked softly, "that being only friends with Kim is too painful for you?"

"Not at all, ma'am. Since I've never had a girlfriend, I'm used to being part of the furniture around girls. What would be painful for me is being treated as if I were a dumb kid WHO NEEDED TO BE TOLD that Kim wants nothing more than that with me, as if I couldn't figure it out. I can do friendship; it's all I'm _allowed_ to do, really."

Soon Alipang was seated with his parents, having permitted himself one brief glance and nod in Kim's direction on the way in. Kim was wearing a tasteful dress, modest at neck and hem, but of course she still was utterly smashing.

Now the chips would fall where they might. Mrs. Tisdale probably _would_ tell Kim what he had said; but what could Kim do, threaten not to be his girlfriend?
